We have to use social media to reach & hear the world these days, but to avoid inevitable enshittification & exploitation of all platforms to date, what society needs is a PBS model. I'd gladly pay 5, 10, 20 bucks a year at this point for a stable platform not run by sociopaths.

"Stone Wall, Cottage" is one my favorite paintings. It comes from when I lived briefly with my little dog in north Donegal. These fields, and view to the mountains that are the Seven Sisters, were by one of our regular walks. I love it for memories of her as much as anything. It hangs in Liverpool.
