Strange, I'm just some random Australian and I knew it was in there. 🙄

We had one in an office plant when I was working in WA. It was infuriating. Everyone thought it was a frog & someone named it Kermit. Nope, mole cricket. One day it climbed onto the carpet & was taken to live in a park.

Its name should be officially changed to Footy, since everyone calls it that anyway.

Political promises are worthless. For once I'd like a party to be able to run based on what they HAVE done, rather than what they might do.

That one's a bit more impressive than the white or grey ones I keep finding 😀

A family of three moved into our dam this year and built a nest. Instead of laying eggs, they brought three chicks that they'd prepared earlier. Despite the quolls & cats they all survived and we now have a family of six adults.

So, no acknowledgement of the damage caused by petrol & diesel either, I assume?

Don't give up. This time last year, we had a clump of three growing wild that looked worse than that, with no visible green shoots. We thought they were all dead but many months later they all recovered and are now leafy again.

I don't know how difficult it was to get passed, but we have loads of polling stations. Most (if not all) public schools, for a start, & I've never had to queue for more than a few minutes.

I was there too. I was obviously aware of the environmental issues but the effects on water supply and, in particular flooding, hadn't crossed my mind.

They look like they're made of carbon fibre 😀

Surely that email won't make it past email filters because it contains the word "diverse".

Every one of them should have known that these things shouldn't be discussed on Signal, and any (every) one of them could (should) have put a stop to it. They're all guilty.

Every election, the government says "If you vote for us again we'll do these things in our next term". There's very little "Vote for us because of all these good things in our current term".

A lot of people complain about Sky Muster, but we're finding it to be quite acceptable. We're paying $59 a month for Skymuster Plus Premium (unmetered 25mbps), which is the same as we paid for 12mbps FTTN in WA. It's a bit laggy for phone calls but fine for streaming and we don't do online gaming.

A Starbucks gift card AND a goat? He must be kicking himself for not taking the deal. 😂

There's no excuse for this. Mount Arthur is home to Tasmanian devils, Eastern & spotted-tailed quolls, Tasmanian giant freshwater crayfish and so much more.

You should move to Tasmania. It's so normal here that there's even a waterproof field guide. 😁 qvmag.shop/products/poo...

Arkys are one of my favourite spiders. Some Arkys walckenaeri from my place.

Yeah, that's what we use on the other type of traps so it's probably what we'll try next

Eeuwh. I thought we just had one. It didn't want raisins so we caught it with cheese in this trap. Apparently the second mouse doesn't like raisins or cheese so I'll have to try something else.

In WA there's a business called Chipper Funerals. I've always thought they should be able to help with this type of request. 😂

I wish governments would say "Vote for us because we did these good things in our current term" rather than "If you vote for us again we'll do good things next time"

Eastern quolls are so sweet and delicate looking and this really is neither. Poor little guy.

It's so wrong. 😂 Looks more like an oversized hedgehog than one of these sweeties.
