That's a lot of assumptions about her when you don't really know her.
Let's not to shame a mother for wanting the biological father to take care of his children.

Exactly. Project 2025 and Elon got him elected by essentially buying the election and he was fine with it because it kept him out of jail.
Now its time to pay the bill and he is doing so willingly while he plays golf.

The right isn't conservative anymore. They only believe in hate and racism. They aren't about family values, rule of law, ethics, morales.
They are about giving truck loads of cash and benefits to the Billionaire class though.

Ok, let's assume for a minute it was a "wave." Based on how the press and public react to anything that looks like a Nazi salute, wouldn't you make every effort to avoid anything that looks like a Nazi Salute just to be clear?
They are lying. Its a dog whistle to the their base.

Republicans (there is no such thing as a MAGA Republican anymore.. their all MAGA) don't care about their constituents. They only worry about bending the knee to the King.

"to get Rare Minerals" -- are we planning to negotiate in good faith and pay fair market value or are we just taking them? If we're just raping the Ukraine of its resources, then this is just exploitation.
If we are asking them to give us a preference on buying them, I can kinda see it.

Because the ultra rich donāt care about social security. They are financially set for their futures. They donāt want to save it, they want to end it.

Essentially, we have created another level of abstraction, but logic still applies.

The fact that you have a program from 1977 that is still being used is pretty impressive.

Its White House Barbie! Clearly she has no idea that the US Govt is founded on the idea of 3 CO-EQUAL branches of government with the judicial branch being one of them.

IF Biden or Obama had refused to fund anything that was passed by Trump, the Republicans would have torched the Capital.
Why are all Republicans such dishonest and crooked people?

There was a time when you could work most jobs and make enough to support yourself with the basics. That's not true anymore. Wages have been flat while cost of living has sky rocketed.
This is why Trump's promise to lower the price of everything is appealing to so many (even if he can't do it)
comment in response to

The thing is that there is something here: yes, lots of people are "employed" but they aren't making enough to support themselves unless they are working 2-3 jobs and that can be hard to do.
Dismissing this ignores a real problem we have: under-employment.

I am all for investigating federal programs for fraud. But, I don't trust the DOGE team. I would feel better if we created a non-partisan or bi-partisan team that would openly investigate these systems and root out fraud.
But I don't believe that this group is about fraud.

Yep. Agreed. I think the Paper Straws thing is an example of this. Trump can EO all he wants. Does that mean that private businesses can't make them and other businesses can't buy them? Absolutely not.
Its performative theatre.
Let's see him try to outlaw Electric Cars.

When he sees these photos of Musk talking and him sitting at the desk looking like he is subservient to Elon.. its going to be like an RFK Jr worm in his brain. These photos might be the thing that we point back to as the beginning of the end.

In the end, everyone who is close to Trump gets hung out to dry. Elon's day will come soon. Trump is only for Trump.

Rather than "don't do bad things" how about making it "do good things in the world."?

I am really not sure where this goes. It seems like Trump and his people will likely ignore court orders. If that happens, who will force compliance?
So, he doesn't comply.. enough Americans get pissed and flood the streets in protest, then Trump declares Martial Law and gains even more power.

What's really going on here is that he wants to move the funding that FEMA has that is distributed by the govt to his Christian right "organizations."
That will ensure that the people's money only goes into the hands of people the right wants to have it. (and provides a chance to skim off the top)

Believe it or not, lots of people are honest hard working people who do a great job. The fact that he thinks that people don't work at home says more about his ethics and morals then anything else.
comment in response to

There are hundreds of thousands of people who are successfully working at home right now.. myself included.
The braintrust seems to imply that people don't work as hard.. when studies show the opposite: people work more than do in the office, because no commute, fewer distractions.

Its not about "being colorblind" They strike down all DEI initiatives and guidelines and replace them with nothing.
There isn't even the appearance of equality by looking at these things from a blind perspective (without any identify info). The only deciding factor is loyalty to Trump.

To think, we thought you were an honorable man who would fight for all Americans. Now we know that you'll sell your soul to play the game. You voted for Bondi.
Your casual attire is nothing more than a costume. You're no different than all the other politicians. Truly sad to see this.

why does "our" President think that he is a real estate developer? We know why. That's part of the goal here.. to use the treasury and resources of the United States to further his ambitions personally worldwide.
This whole idea is offensive and should never happen.

I really hope that they reject most American products and stop buying them. I hope they place their own tariffs on US that are so high that they are prices out of the market.
Let's start with Telsa getting a 300% tariff & then through red state products. They wanted this, let them enjoy it.

If we were really concerned with hiring the best, most qualified person for the job, this guy, most of the nominees and POTUS wouldn't even be in the conversation.
