Often folks are scared to protest because of the risk their opinions or time off land them on the bad side of their employers and they lose their access to Healthcare.

Some people just want to argue, but the beauty of a platform like this is if you want to argue, you can. If you don't, you can just block/mute. Personally, I welcome the arguments, but I can see how they'd get really grating really fast to many.

Congress approves budgets, they don't cut checks to schools. Someone has to do that, and the department of education is what does it. If you remove the department, you will still need something there to do the same thing, unless of course the intention is to not provide that funding entirely

This is both true and not a thought-out response to what I said. The Dept of Ed provides about 10% of funding to any given school district, conducts research on best practices for teaching and enforces anti-discrimination laws as they relate to students and educators.

It matters because social media equalizes posts. Your feed could be something like your aunt, the president, a white supremacist leader, your kid cousin, the creator of Linux, etc.
This only works if each person has one account, but what if one person has 10, 100, 1000? Responding to themselves?
