Iowa becomes the first state in the nation to un-do civil rights protections based on gender identity. What a shameful first, especially with thousands of people protesting just outside the legislature doors. History will remember this.

I found out today that my dog doesn’t have long to live. She’s got some growths on her kidney and liver that can’t be fixed. I’ve never felt so helpless and heartbroken. She’s an ocean away and I can’t even be there to care for her. She’s my best friend😔
