Yup! Once I got the main Dawning quest done (the one where you have to deliver treats to everyone) I did the weekly bounties on my other 2 characters. Finished with both in <2hrs.

Try grinding repeatable bounties from Eva! I do it every year and usually I have enough bright dust by the end to last me a few months. I started this event with ~2k and I'm already up to 11k.
