I’m the face in the crowd no one sees. Liberal, progressive believer in social justice. Poor. Older. Invisible. I will resist. We are all worthy of dignity, justice and better lives.

All federal employees should stop working. Secret service stop. White House janitors, cooks, everyone. We should all back them by stopping our work wherever possible. Let everything come to a halt then let them figure out what to do. Peaceful,sit-down strike. They depend on us.

Arrogance floats off him like a foul and offensive odor.

It’s hard. I know the burden. In my case the advantage of age was that I adapted and let go of what I could. Not possible for everyone. My heart goes out to you.

A lot of homeless turn to drugs after they end up on the streets. It’s a way to dull reality. Reality can really suck. It’s really hard to keep one’s chin up.

Most of us never completely cross the line into adulthood. Sixty-six with tired traitorous body. Inside 12 and always shocked by the person in the mirror thinking “what do I want to be when I grow up?”

ChatGPT gave me a fairly accurate answer. I tested it recently by asking about well published impact of a Trump action. 2X Chat denied action existed. When I typed “you’re wrong” it apologized & responded with “accurate” reporting. Nice tool but use with care.

What they are on the inside clearly shows on the outside if you have the eyes to see it. Blinders are finally coming off.

Hope all goes as smoothly as possible. If I could I’d move overseas tomorrow.

Congress has done a great job dropping the ball and offering largely lukewarm resistance to tyranny. Trump clearly dislikes Blue California. Why would he miss a chance to be cruel and vengeful?

I never knew how many people would “get on board” with so many things that amount to murder.

Amazon has a huge corner of the market. If they lose some customers they don’t care as long as they have some vision of greater profitability. If enough people said “Bye Amazon.” They might get a clue but there aren’t many easy alternatives & it requires a sacrifice.

My biggest concerns are that we’ll still be able to vote and the results won’t be tampered with. The rate he’s going it’s not looking good.

Good ideas but no idea how to get Amazon to comply with a whole lot of things that are right or fair. (I have a Kindle & may drop account entirely.) I know Amazon pricing and convenience is not something every one feels they can avoid.
I try. Amazon is way too big for its britches.

His name “Chatterton” points to a deeper meaning. His words are idle chatter and not worthy of contemplation i.e. he’s full of excrement.

Stupid reaches ever increasing lows. Of course the illiterate are easier to persuade.

Also silenced Alexa and put her in a drawer I also call “Alexa Jail.” I miss her sweet companionship but she was a traitor.

We did regain a level of some security. Make a bit more retired than working but that’s in jeopardy now and I expect the worst.

I’m sure it’s devastating. The American dream is fiction for the vast majority. It distracts us from reality. Things have been unfair especially for POC from the start. It’s wrong.

Both husband & I were college -educated and always paid our taxes, always voted…The rules of the game changed and the “good life” we’d been promised was no longer available.

It was incredibly obvious that Trump would side with Russia. I know alot of people couldn’t imagine this and wanted to believe in a different outcome but “what in heaven’s name were they thinking?”

I’m sure Trump watched out of spite. There is no way he understands the game or could have stayed awake through it.

The fact that most parents and grandparents were vaccinated for the very things they don’t want to vaccinate their children for hurts my brain so much I feel my synapses scream.

Older person here. While a few politicians are older & clear headed … a nice chunk of these old white guys scream for an age limit. Government needed to past to the younger. A lot of my demographic has really fucked things up.
