When I first saw him and the way he was prancing toward me when I approached I turned right the fuck around and went on my merry way ππ

Girl, what. Where did I say any of that? It seems that you've wildly misinterpreted this conversation as being adversarial, so I'm gonna go ahead and disengage. This has been deeply unconstructive π

My favorite part is when I accidentally smash a keyboard shortcut that doesn't undo, then need to spend 15-45 minutes trying to describe the specific way the image is fucked up so I can find that one tut that shows me the menu that I need to open to change it back πππ

I'm not sure why you're trying to turn this into some kind of competition, but that weird little hair trigger that white folks have on their anger and defensiveness is one of the reasons why we don't trust y'all ππΌ keep on helpin, though, I guess

You have enough faith to call upon your people to get involved in frontline/rapid response tactics. Why does that faith falter when it comes to the work required to put other tactics into place? Fatigue is understandable, but we can't let that stop us from using all of the tools in our belt.

Both things can be done at the same time as long as planning is involved. It'll be easier to occupy, shut down and protest if the working class people being affected are being taken care of by their fellows. A great way for white folks to use their privilege would be to help organize that aid.

The dedication required to do the conditioning and rehearsal required for that stunt is nothing short of spectacular. Genuinely on par with the folks at Cirque!

I blurted out a "thanks, you too!" in response, despite knowing that some dudes would take that as an invitation to chat me up. But he kept on keepin' on, and the relief I felt was incredible. A pleasant exchange just for the sake of it! Wonderful!
Anyway, that's how you do it, fellas, easy peasy.

He was such an integral part of childhood for myself, as well! He's still so good at sparking that love for reading. I also remember watching Star Trek: Enterprise with my mama, and I would always be sooo excited to see him on screen π

If we started more protest planning with the phrase "it would be hilarious if we..." we would definitely make more headway. That's how a French administrative building ended up with literal tons of manure on its front steps when farmers faced declining income and unsafe working conditions π

About once a month or so I think about the fight scene with Pops Racer, when the camera does a quick zoom-in on Pop's wrestling championship ring before pulling back and showing him throw down wrestling-style in that fight. That bit of storytelling was so choice *chef's kiss*

My man, Trump ain't gonna do shit. We have four years worth of proof that he breaks campaign promises and only works on vanity projects, because he's a wet sack of shit.
Would be nice if he focused on gun control so school children can stop getting murdered at school. Something else he won't do.

An article snapped it into place for me when the author stressed that sharks are really curious and chill by and large. They just have limited ways to get information about stuff so they end up using their mouths much like we use our hands. It just sucks when that stuff is soft and full of blood π¬
