I just read that it likes shade and I believe I have the perfect spot on our back patio. It’s surrounded by 6 ft brick walls.

Oooh!! A group sounds fabulous!! I know exactly how you feel abt the jugs. Bc I want to make sure I have enough—when I DO start. Also, eyeing anything clear and plasticy now as potential seed incubators!
comment in response to post
I have everything for the winter sowing: the milk jugs, the soil, the seeds, duct tape. But I lack motivation. 🤦‍♀️🥶

And here I go with the rabbit trail! Thank you for sharing this with me! I haven’t had a horse since I was 12 years old but, it was such a treat when the ferrier showed up!

Well, Brick—I think I can handle buttering my own bread and what not. Just display the toaster and bread. (Keep the bread in its bag tho so that it doesn’t dry out before it gets to the toaster). Few things worse than dried out wonderbread!

Frankly, I’d love that. With butter and fig spread.

And new shoes! Makes me wonder: what kinds of technology do they have for horse shoes these days?

Niall—this is such a wonderfully sincere reflection on benefits of sobriety. It’s exactly as you say: you’re reliable now; your friends are helpful and love you; you still get down sometimes but—it’s never as bad as it used to be when drinking. And you have so much energy now to do good things! 🥰

I need a small poster to hang on my office wall—as daily inspiration. But in the meantime, I’ll print and frame your title page.

Dear Mr. Bob Scott—I found your thread bc @joshmankiewicz.bsky.social —and this piece and you, generally, are fckng brilliant! I’ve been wondering what the “Aryan Nation” and “Aryan Brotherhood” have been up to in these weird times. Hopefully, losing at kickball and shin-broke! Following!!

Same!! Omg! I’ve found my match! I was using crystals for various positive intentions—lost track—now I plant the crystals in the garden along with bulbs and seeds!

These are beautiful, magical!! What cloth do you use? Stitches? 🧵

Oh man! I love this! I wonder if you could do an evil eye rug with someone’s upcycled clothes? 🤞

This thrills me! I was just telling my husband abt your “retirement laptop” and that I wished a pendulum and rune dice for you! Your pocketbook is stocked like mine! “We have the answers….!”
comment in response to post
Same. I’m almost embarrassed by the extensive divination collection. “The answers are there. Which method will I choose today?!” LeNormand is one of my faves! I have a purse-sized booklet with cards and explanations. Titania’s deck. It’s served me well for 24 years!

And get a pendulum and some rune dice!!

Thank you for the sunshine bag! I love it and would keep my crystals inside!

Oooh! Awesome! It’s not just me! Have you looked into the second one yet? Will you get back to me when you get to closed buttonhole stitches?
comment in response to post
It’s a lot of fun! If you have a mind to get away from the crazy for a few hours, I highly recommend trying to learn embroidery.

This one is from Amazon. My husband picked it out for Xmas. It includes 3 patterns with various stitches. Ultimately, the 3 diff cloths = “Enjoy Your Life”
