Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man hit a new thing for me with animation. I LOVE the art style. I HATE the animation.

🎲✂️ Just a PSA: This is a grifter that follows & unfollows anyone vaguely into board games to fish for followbacks. He's been known to start harassment campaigns against people in the industry for spurious reasons. Rodney Smith from Watch It Played even posted an old video about him on Twitter.

Rob Manfred said that what the Dodgers have done is good for baseball. The current value of all Dodgers contracts is just over 2 billion. The Reds? Just over 200 million. Baseball is broken. Rob Manfred is a shit commissioner.

Watched Sonic 3. It's fine. Perfectly okay. Nowhere near the quality of 1 or even 2. Very formulaic and phoned in, to the point that I was guessing lines before they were said. The ending was just noise and nonsense. Carrey was clearly having a ball. Nothing creative or interesting to say or add.

Public comment is now open for passport gender marker changes. You can go here to go to each of the three proposed passport rules, and submit comment. My suggestion: be unique, argue for trans-inclusive policies, against the constitutionality of the changes, etc. www.reddit.com/r/Passports/...

Good news. Duck is acting extra like an asshat. Spring is around the corner. Every year this time of year he acts like a Cybertruck owner who leaves piles of black fur and puke everywhere for about two months. Absolute blessed time of year really.

In a world full of Pat Macafes be a Chris Kluwe.

Listen, not to harp on a silly thought from earlier but I just saw another new to me Brian Cox Uber Eats commercial and seriously, he should sweep awards season for these.

99% Invisible did a great episode on this. People who read the safety pamphlet and follow all guidelines have a SIGNIFICANTLY higher chance of surviving a plane crash. The majority of plane crashes are survivable, follow the rules!

This bug-eyed void baby.

Trump voters, 3rd party voters, stay at home brigade. I won't forget or forgive any of you for what you put on us. There's a publisher (don't ask) who was a loud stay at home bug brain I'm so moral type who shows up on my timeline and it's all I can to not say something I'll regret.

One thing that is unironically bringing me so much joy right now, Brian Cox Uber commercials. I love him as an actor anyway and these things have me howling with laughter when they come on. I hope you find your small stupid joy. youtu.be/pTRwJPLm4YE?...

Man, the chew up and spit out model of major modern video games is fucked. Like, you buy a AAA game brand new you're just buying stocks for millionaires, not paying dev salary anymore. Support indies. Anyway, off to play Steamworld Heist while my rom sets download for my emulators. 😙

Trying to do the audiobook thing as I just can't read like I used to with my aphantasia in full bloom now. Starting with It cause I've always loved the mini series and the movies. The story is great. As great as I'd hoped. But damn, it's bloated, unfocused, and just so mean and ugly for no reason.

I've been out of the office for a week with the flu. Haven't been able to talk for days. Gotta go back tomorrow. My car got partially snowed in. But at least I caught up on Cobra Kai and Squid Game this weekend.

Did anyone actually know anyone who thought the Blair Witch was real? Like, the marketing was amazing and gave it authenticity but we all knew it was a movie. Like, I didn't know anyone who thought they'd make a cool movie poster about dead kids my age. I did think the myth was "real".

On to Squid Game Season 2 and ...jesus fuck. That Rock Paper Scissor scene had me so stressed I almost wanted to cry. I love filmmaking that feels like it's pushing itself to the limit and damn. This first episode goes maybe harder than any from season 1.

Okay, Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3 (ugh) still had a LOT of the problems from the whole season. However, it toned down or limited some of the worst parts, re-grounded the story in what mattered the most, and wrapped it in that cheese that binds us to this franchise. It ended pretty well overall.
