It can be obtuse - just play the official NES sequel made with the original team and box artist. store.steampowered.com/app/2332240/...

Soul blazer is one of my favorite games and the first one I imported. Banging soundtrack too. Hope you like it!

There’s an entire comic with that art work that I saw while developing beyond Shadowgate. I had no idea it was made for this game specifically. Very cool

Several accurate observations in this article, Romero’s and Szymanski’s in particular. I’ll second the notion about finding a happy medium for difficult level - in adventure puzzle games there’s an amazing breadth of player capability to find a solution I’ve seen from 10 seconds to 30+ minutes.

That’s an accurate description of what happened ☝️

I’m just gonna stick with the classic gold edition of the original series. Don’t need those extra dimensions with their big hair and suits

I’d recommend the original Shadowgate on the NES followed by Deja Vu, Uninvited, then Beyond Shadowgate on Steam in that order. But I may be biased. What’s everyone else think?

Are we talking the new solus DLC or a tie in with the movie Event Horizon? 😏

Easy - Sega CD, and Super Shredder. I didn’t know about the boxes, that’s awesome

Rick is also a member of TCRF.net - the gaming preservation website, which is just another reason to support him to achieve his dream. He cares about this comic the way we cared about BSG. Please consider supporting the project, and I hope the winner enjoys BSG + Project Starlight. Thank you!

Rick has supported Beyond Shadowgate for a long time - read his review in the KS update. We know how hard it is to fund passion projects, which is exactly how we started Beyond Shadowgate, and we hope you help Rick find the same success we did.

Your description makes me want to play SG64 but I can’t get by the super slow movement. I will say that it was made from the same design document we used for Beyond Shadowgate - but the team at Kemco deviated after the beginning. I don’t think Dave Marsh had much to do with it.

I put “Godzilla M.D.” as my name and paid ahead of time. They pasted the slip on the cup but didn’t make the drink.
