Still here, and that coach idea has some juice ngl. My only caveat is the way she treated Hamby sorta stained my perception of her. But, her return to San Antonio would be exciting for fans and the city.

Yeah, I always double check. It has actually been consistent with just doing actions, but I am being *very explicit* with my requests. Asking *it* what to do is a fools errand, telling it what to do seems to be ok, lol

You are correct, on all counts. It only worked because you knew what you were doing already! We are not near the "zero-to-hero" phase of this crap, lol.
All I use it for right now is talking to my phone to do tasks and understand complex requests for tasks. For that, it works.

FWIW, your assessment is correct however, these are good tools for people with experience in the field, but not really great for the inexperienced. It won't turn Joe Schmoe into Bill Gates, lol.

Nice, good tests. The drop-down should let you pick a 2.0 pro (lil better on complexity) or 1.5 "deep thinking" model which is older but tries double-checking. Flash is default because it's fastest. It's fun to compare them. Also peep aistudio.google.com which gives you finer control/more models.

Which Gemini model did you test with? Just curious.

Didn't they say they were killing fact checks? I guess it's better for their terribly wrong ideology to just approve fact deniers to the position instead. Yikes.

You might be able to use a Gecko(Firefox) based alternative like Waterfox.

Firefox is a good play for long term tbh. Different rendering engine, unlike most other browsers which are just Chromium back ends.

I am not attempting to inform the public, and if I were, that article would be published for free. I could put up ads, take donations, get paid for other non-critical articles, etc. Paywalling useful info just allows another free source to reinterpret you later, possibly misconstruing your report.

Putting important, exclusive reporting behind a paywall ensures no one that needs to see it will read it. Fox News is trash, but it is free, which do you think Joe Everyman will read today? We all want to support them, but leave the paywall for op-eds, extras, etc. if you plan to inform the public.
