You should absolutely do that.
But Joe Biden won in 2020 and yet Trump is President again. I have no reason to believe that simply voting them out for one or two elections will end it. I won’t ever believe America collectively understands what is morally wrong with Trump unless he dies in prison

No.
As a non-American, I will never trust America again unless and until they end Trump the way Italians ended Mussolini.
I’m not advocating that Americans do that. Do not do that. My point is you’ll never convince me that Trumpism is over unless the people turn against him *that* forcefully.

I want to help these businesses, but they have to have the guts to call out who is doing this to them.
Not “the government”. It’s Trump and the Republicans. If they can’t muster the honesty to identify the enemy I can’t in good conscience trust they won’t vote them back in again.

also he just decimated every single regulatory body that could possibly have oversight of said factories. businesses will NEVER choose to spend more to build safe, well-maintained facilities when there is no one to force them to do so
