My fav Cobain Denialist line is the one about how KC's writing about how much about the devastation at not being gay proves cisness, as though there is no possible context as to why a trans woman in the late-80's/early-90's would dread the realization that she had absolutely no attraction to men!

Some of my favorite childhood memories are from my grandparents house. To my recollection, only the kitchen had overhead light. Everything else was lamps and open windows. It is comforting.

I saw a silly meme on Facebook telling me that I could be a woman, and suddenly 25 years of "We don't have time to think about that" was over. I started a period of self examination, the "Is Alex Trans Project." It was pretty conclusive and it was off to the races. I had no intermediary identities.
