Michelle Obama: Kids should have nutritious meals. The pro-life party: This is an outrage! RFK Jr: Kids should have measles, mumps, and polio. The pro-life party: Yes, king! Tell it like it is!

Been thinking a lot lately about the rewrite of my paranormal horror/urban fantasy book series, TALL TALES, and started a picture based on the recurring story location, The Devil's Church. It's not done, but it's coming along well enough that I wanted to share.

disturbing uptick in "we post tweets and talk about them." servile behavior tbh. bluesky is not the Greek chorus for the main character action of twitter, that's loser thinking, have some pride. twitter is dead. post bangers. thank you

Read something other than comics before you try to make comics. Don’t get me wrong, read a SHITLOAD of comics. But also read prose fiction, non-fiction, biographies, textbooks, encyclopedias, and other kinds of books. Comics inspired only by other comics are not good comics.

#AutChat A4: I've started setting alerts on my phone for tasks that I need to do. It doesn't have a solid time when I need to do it, but it's a reminder to start trying to transition. It doesn't always do what I want--it probably has about a 45% success rate--but it's better than not having it.

#AutChat A3: I don't think I really have? It's always kind of been the same, it's just that I have fewer external forces acting on me to induce changes in my day now than I did when I was a kid or working full time.

#AutChat A2: It is incredibly frustrating. I keep finding myself struggling to start things I really want to do and have all the tools and energy to do, or stopping to meet my needs or my family's needs, and it feels like I'm failing when I can't switch to important tasks.

#AutChat A1: From what I know of it, yes, it sounds very familiar. I find that once I start doing a thing, that's just what I'm doing that day. It's very difficult to switch gears, which often causes problems when is significantly delays things I need to do (like cooking dinner).

Hello, #AutChat! My name is Tej, and I learned about autistic inertia roughly 5 minutes ago. Looking forward to discussing it as much as I can today! I may be driving home at some point this hour, though, so forgive me if I just drop out for a bit.

#AutChat #ActuallyAutistic I was reading the chat theme info for today and I'm unfamiliar with this term. Is autistic inertia different than executive dysfunction? If so, how?

My Midwestern Dad roots are showing. I called the dogs Tweedledweeb and Tweedledumbass the other day.

Part of the problem with a two-party system is that at least one party must, at all times, be a coalition party; and when ONLY one is a coalition party, it will struggle to have the political will to accomplish much of anything. It can't effectively be a catch-all and ideological at the same time.

I see so many posts of people complaining about how Copilot keeps asking them to use it for menial tasks, which sounds annoying, but I don’t know why you don't just uninstall Copilot. It shows up in the Apps settings. None of my computers broke after I uninstalled it from them. Just murder it.

Pretty darn good thread on why writing is a terrible career choice, actually. And this is why I keep saying that trad will never be for me unless it's the offer of a lifetime. I'm actually talking about seven figures when I says this, precisely because of this πŸ‘‡

Stretch your wrists/arms/shoulders AND NECK before every writing session You don't want to end up with chronic pain or severe injuries that compromise your ability to write

I was reminded of Goofus and Gallant a week or so ago, but couldn’t remember their names; so when I was trying to explain it to my wife I called them Doofus and Dingus and she was like, "that can't possibly have been their names."
