Getting a library card is punk as fuck and free!

Libraries are so cute. Please get the Libby and Hoopla app on your phone and the Kanopy app for your TV. It makes the libraries so happy and you can access books, movies, magazines, audiobooks, tv shows, and joy. YOU GET FREE JOY

PSA: Defrost your freezers on the reg. Just sorting my mam's house out and this is the state of the freezer on day 2. Day one we couldn't actually get the door open. Currently on day 4 and still not fully done. Don't get caught out by chilly hubris

The next few years are going to be tough, but just remember what Anne Herbert said: "Libraries will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no libraries." The best time to join your local library is right now - if you have not already done so!

Has there been a starter pack for any Warhammer content folk been created. Feel like I'm sorely missing some toy soldier posts

I’ve mentioned this before, but if you’re short on cash but have an urge to shop, go to your library digital apps and browse the books, audiobooks, movies, shoes, magazines. It works really well to give you the same feeling without spending the cash. (Plus you’re supporting public libraries.) 💙📚

Working from home, but also getting sent pictures from my fellow community councillors of our hand gritters out and about in a snowy Stockethill! There are five of them, all named through a competition we organised at a local primary school last December.

I see Ian Wright's teacher has brought out a book

Have spent a good chunk of this weekend linking up people who are devastated and angry that their council wants to close their local library and giving advice to them on next steps. Wishing everyone heading to Elgin Library tonight all the best ♥ What a start to #BookWeekScotland

Please support bookshops. Independent bookshops. They are so wonderful. Yes you pay a little more. But I think of it as paying for the experience. The experience of browsing. And that oh-so-important bookshop smell. 🖖 Fu** big corporations.

Grateful for parks, libraries, and places where anyone can go

*pssssst* Hey You know that one project? That one you've wanted to write FOREVER except it's scary as hell & maybe you don't feel good enough or brave enough or strong enough? Spend 15 min on it today Keep the dream alive Even a pot on the back burner needs to occasionally be stirred
