Listened to a NYT interview with him recently. He seems to have surprisingly broad historical knowledge for someone whose theses is one of a 12 year old: “What if absolute power, but only for good things!”

Looks like Trump is tired of winning already…

It couldn’t have been! William doesn’t have the right mustache for it

Should have gone to r/anglosaxon instead probably! I don’t know anything about them, but they sound more tolerant of bitter pagan revivalists and Norman bastards.

I know applying modern labels to the past can be tricky, but this hill seems like a weird one to die on…
I wanted to share some pre-Norman content since their original poll was incomplete (maybe send some our way??), now I know it *those* kinds of history fans

I think it’s more of a vibe check. We’d be hard pressed to defend any of these on all their actions.

Thanks for the repost🫶
It’s looking good for our Lady so far! Though I *will* track down those who vote against her… (looking at you Edward…)

Too bad the Dems have just spent four years crusading against the idea there’s anything wrong with the US democracy!
I wouldn’t count on Republicans to care about election integrity this time…

Thanks! I’ll check it later, it’s getting late here. I’m not even in the US so this is doubly obscure to me. Thought I have the suspicion the fallout will affect us all…
Take care!

Crazy right! Even on Twitter this never happened to me😁

Are these anomalies? I’d need to compare with previous elections as well. If a presidential candidate is more/less popular then a down-ballot, maybe it’s not crazy to see the trend consistently across the entire state. Or it is, idk🤷🏻♂️

Also this argument, emphasized even more in the video, seems fishy to me. What makes Durham a Democratic bastion is the lead both Harris an the AG candidate have over the republicans. If there are intra-party trends I would expect them to manifest there too.

Hi J&Z, my first non-tweet here, good to see you again!
I remember reading repeatedly before Biden dropped out that he polls consistently worse than down-ballot Democrats. Couldn’t we see something similar here?
