In fiction, the folks who say “Good soldiers follow orders” are always the villains.
Always.

Keep calling him folks. Some of the Columbus suburbs are in his district and have been shifting blue.
We won’t win his vote much, but the one or two or five times we do will make a difference.
Give him a call or stop by his office!

2.53 million Ohioans voted for Harris. She carried the biggest county (Lucas) in Kapur’s district, which is also one of the most reliably Democratic counties in Ohio.
Lots of Vets, my father in law with cancer included rely on the VA and hate Trump. They don’t deserve this.
Go fuck yourself.

Someone pushed him on it right?
A reporter asked why they are doing it and provided all the examples- Right?

Americans oppose everything he’s doing. All of it. At least according to the poll

Funny cause the Rs always seem to cause a ton of problems when they are in the minority.
Do more or get primarried. That’s our message to congressional Dems

The Rs are sticking together. They got Kennedy and Gabbard, they’ll stick together here too.

He’s lying. The press brought it up to Musk, in front of Trump, and Musk said he got it wrong, in front of Trump.

Thank you for sharing and shout out to Morgan Standley got sharing her story.
So needed. Don’t see nearly enough. Every new policy news should get answered with the stories of the Americans it hurts.

It doesn’t matter though. What matters is who has power and who doesn’t.
If they aren’t able to win under these conditions or change the conditions to be more favorable they need to leave the party to folks who can.

If these folks aren’t going to fight - Why do we need them around?
I want people ready to rise to the moment.
These Dems aren’t it.

How’d you vote on Rubio?
comment in response to

- They have no clue how to combat this because it’s so outside the frame of what they think possible.
- Those leaders are incapable of fighting back in the way that works.
- There is room for someone or many someone’s to step up and fill the void.

Came to a realization reading your post
- There were some Dems in 2024 who were actually just saying that shit to win the election, a scare tactic.
- Turns out, they were inadvertently correct.
- Since they thought it was just a scare tactic, they didn’t prepare and expected business as usual.

I worked for campaigns from 2008-2012, including face to face with the tea party in rural Ohio. Also for a healthcare non profit that used stories
It may not be super easy, but there are always people willing to share. They’re pissed. We are just giving them the opportunity to put that into action.

We can just say no.
Absolutely a thing we can do. Just not do the shit.

If they’re idiots and we keep losing to them- What’s that make us?
Seriously, if they are so dumb, why don’t we kick the shit out of them every time?

Just think how awesome it’ll be when we get someone in there and all of it gets reversed.
Now go work harder so we can get there.
We’ll be in power again and we need to make sure it’s someone who is ready to attack.

A high level Democratic official being like “Idk no one in leadership planned anything” from someone who is as in fact in a leadership position is peak Democrats.
No ownership. “Not my problem”. That’s why people don’t believe them when they try and escalate the risks.
