Are you a RW?

Plus any team managed by Steve Bruce, and I honestly don’t know why 😂

I said this at the lane once and a load of fans laid into me. Truth is, I enjoy the rivalry with Arsenal. I hate them, absolutely, but I want them to exist for the rivalry. I would be delighted if Chelsea disappeared tomorrow. Fucking despise them.

It was tricky today. Nearly lost the streak.

Aaah the incoherent ramblings of Spurs fans fuelled by hope, despairingly unaware of the impending failure and meltdown pursuant.

Did he spray the wine of choice?

This one was always my favourite:

Feels too lazy to be true, those names have been doing the rounds since last summer. Plus this “it’ll never be Poch because the fee would be too much”… £21m is the most ever spent on a manager in the world, and we would happily spunk that on Jerome n’whateverhisname.

Daniel Levy fuming right now “DID YOU NOT READ MY MEMO? IT IS TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR OR SPUR!!!”.

Voila.

3 years and 9 months into the administration - the U.S. are attempting to deliver a nuclear payload, but the recipients are out, so they leave a note saying that it has been left at a local Russian Supermarket, ready for collection at their convenience. This is fine.

Listened to a 4-parter of The Rest is Classified about Klaus Fuchs. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and the end part where the Russians got to build a nuclear weapon was slightly more enjoyable than the Fulham result.

Well I suppose we are, so no citation needed. Not sure what he’s expecting from either sets of Madrid fans though.

Ah ok. He could leave, but ‘interest’ and ‘willing to pay fee’ are enough steps apart that I will go back to sleep.

Uh oh. What have I missed?

Looking forward to hearing your analysis of Ricky Sack’s description of that goal when it happens.

India created the Statue of Unity at 182 meters tall. We could enhance the London skyline with an 184 meter statue of David Cameron.

I was expecting something more satirical, and then found myself fully engaged in serious mode, agreeing on the whole with what you were saying.

No more sinking feeling.

Yes, this. I am an outcast in my own house. The worst father in the world, and a despicable human being. All because I told my teenage son that at 02:15am this morning, he should probably get off of his computer and get some sleep. This is actually true, and is happening right now.

Still won’t drive a Tesla though.

I get this, I truly do. But I’ve reached an age now where if I boycotted every company where I disagreed with their politics, I’d live in a cave and be fully self-sustaining. I definitely wouldn’t support Spurs. Apathy of the masses will end the world, and I have my share of the blame 😞.

I’m also aware that nobody asked. Sorry.

Superb place to take your kids if they have friends with them, because the menu has every option imaginable. Plus they do beer festivals where you can try really nice beers really cheap. No I would not take a date there. No it would never be my first, second or third choice venue.

The pizzas are above average.

True story, Wetherspoons is actually ok so long as you accept it for what it is. Cheap, convenient and you will be surrounded by the entire plethora of the social spectrum. The curry is fine if you expect what you pay for.

I’ve read this entire thread, and for some reason I’ve come out of it thinking “I’d like to play beer pong”. 🤷‍♂️

Waiting for Podot might be the greatest pun ever created. Surely this is the winner?

There are some good commentators on the show. I really like Lee and Jason. But I find that they rotate the guests too much so you can’t go on a consistent journey of opinion match to match. Ricky has charisma as a host but he crams his opinion into every question. Can be a bit tabloid at times.

You should be a diplomat and/or a politician.

@rickytfc.bsky.social can you spread the word please 😂

Mate if this happens, I’ll make sure everyone is there.

And I will thank him for it. I love your optimism, but that’s not happening 😂

And ooooh I look like Bentancur hahahahaha

I know what’s best for you all and I will bring you Poch once Ange has finished his mission. (I keep telling myself)

Yeah fair point. But then if he does turn it around and win stuff, he’s exactly the sort of manager RM would want.
comment in response to post
I don’t think Ange stays more than 4 years. Just a sense from his past behaviours.
comment in response to post
In what sense? He stays if we don’t, but if we do we go and get a “big name”?
comment in response to post
I was fine with the first couple of sentences and then…..did he stub his toe or something?
comment in response to post
Ange leaves amicably at the end of his contract, and Poch re-signs after the WC.

I will also be honest that I forgot about Diers appendix.

The piss magically stops boiling after 3-straight wins and the “could we?” memes reappear.

A lot of time between now and 2026 WC. I wonder which (if any) countries abstain their participation.

Travel is the easiest way to get caught. I was on Trumps no-fly list at the start of his first term, just because of travel patterns/timings at the time (obviously was fine after I explained/justified).
