I really REALLY wanted to like Moonrise Hiromu Arakawa’s designs were gorgeous. There was the core of an interesting story there! The pacing just destroyed it. No quiet character moments, only action. I ended up bored out of my mind staring at a cast of characters who were unappealing at best.
