The problem is Elon has no idea what public service means.

There doesn't seem to be any talk of due process which was more than facilitated to Trump.

The American people did, knowing who he was.

If he's saying something incorrect, he's purely lying or he doesn't understand/know what he's talking about. I'm thinking, either/or, best fits.

Trump looks like a sad sack of shit in that picture.🤣

And, tell me what the Court will be able to do about it.

Makes you wonder if somebody whispered in his ear about the penny in small talk and he made the decision based on it.

If they had been prepared for it, they wouldn't have allowed it to happen at all.

I'm thinking nobody had a non-elected official would be given the keys to the federal government treasury on their bingo card.

I don't look at it that way. I think people need to learn that just being against a group, in this case the left in general, has consequences for everyone.

I thought this was a free country and if a company wants to have a DEI policy, it's their right to do so. I imagine the highest profile group to go after would be the NFL to get everyone talking about it.

This is on Republicans too. If a Democrat comes into office with all the power Trump is giving himself, Republicans will have a tough howling without looking hypocritical. The problem may be that many Republicans and their constituents don't care about their own hypocrisy.

Just another fiasco in the making that he won't live to see the finale to. I'd like to know who whispered in his ear that this was a good idea.

What are the options if he just doesn't follow it?
There really isn't any at hand. The Republican Congress, who are required to do something, seem to be bowing down to him and, really, don't seem to care what he does in general.

Does anyone know what he hopes to accomplish with all this stupidity?
I'm asking this in all sincerity.

I don't know if these people realize that Canada is a pretty resilient country.

Why isn't the Republican led Congress doesn't seem to mind they are losing their power to Elon Musk.

I imagine after Trump's talk of annexing Canada, it will start to dwindle pretty quickly.

Correct, they don't pay a price for lying. His supporters don't really care. The media is tired of trying to keep up with his lies and when they do, they're either talking to an echo chamber or get whataboutism thrown back at them to nullify the impact.

It means if he's open and honest, he's going to say something t0 devalue the company. Not really sure what...
If things are being leaked, it's because your employees think you're saying crazy... and it also calls into question how you treat your employees. Loyal employees generally don't leak.

And the Republicans in Congress just sit and take it. Failure of leadership and pure political cowardice.

In the grand scheme of things, does celebrity really matter. I think we found out it doesn't.

Based on the SC ruling regarding immunity and a Congress that will bow down to him, it's a true statement right now.

The Dems are currently on defense because Trump can do no wrong in many voter's eyes, including some Dems. They almost have to make a list and when he really screws up, which shouldn't take too long at the rate he's going, hit him with everything and put him on defense. He's not good on defense

It's good to see people who are hard to criticize step up and speak out. I'm not sure when if he said this recently or during the first term.

Just a reminder, it's what the electorate voted for even if they weren't listening to what they would get.

Because an electorate that sat at home and decided they were fine with whomever won.

I have found the more they're told that defies their own narrative, the more they dig their heels in on their narrative. They don't care about how crazy they sound at that point. It's pride that won't allow them to think they've been duped for this long.

We will find out over the next 4 years about how much good people are willing to stay silent. It's silence that allows it to happen and not the good people who get swept away trying to stand up to it.

Now that almost all the survivors are gone, people are attempting to re-write history. I don't know how it gets stopped if the people in charge want to do the re-writing for their political gain.

I don't think the Trump admin cares about details. They are probably expecting the SC to drag it out while they do their dirty work.

The strange thing is Trump, the supposed strongman, is a coward. I don't understand why people just don't treat him like it.

Wouldn't this be considered State ownership of a private company. Isn't this the type of thing that Republicans cried about when the banks were bailed out with loans?

It makes one wonder if it had been a Democratic President in that much trouble, how would've this SC ruled? They say they tried to make for future generations but I don't believe them.

Sure, another female GOP Senator will have been hoodwinked or pressured into accepting a nominee who doesn't represent the best interests of women in the country. It's starting to become a theme.

It seems to be what almost half the electorate wants. I don't think they fully understand that once it happens, they can be scapegoated just as easily as the people who were scapegoated to get their votes.

At what point does the MAGA crowd start questioning their sources that, one after the other, have been found guilty of perjuring themselves. As far as I can tell, the only reason MAGA believes these liars is because it fits a narrative they want to believe.
