I think a lot. The patient also enjoys composing on piano, writing, political progress, and figuring out new ways to solve old problems. SoCal

All. The. Fronts !! Things are going to be chaotic by Monday morning, across gov and biz. The bad guys just gave themselves too much rope though, if any D leaders want to actually grab it

Everyone seems to have forgotten this ball started rolling after TikTok youth organized against Rs in 2018. It took Trump handlers 18 months to stumble on the racist argument (“I mean nat’l security”), and too many Ds, too clueless about the game of politics, jumped right on board :((

Watch the documentary that just came out on Max/HBO for a good history backgrounder. Yeah, it wasn’t an actual “genre” category until about ten years ago, but the fans that coined the phrase have helped those old smooth/soft rock icons to be heard again. As a musician I could care less about a name

The clearest crispest messaging you will ever hear from an Establishment Democrat is when they f’ing cut the legs out from under one of their own.

Why would any D preemptively make themselves the fall-guy, when we all know Trump will absolutely withhold disaster relief for partisan reasons? Let Rs fail all on their own.

Just be wary of the big influencers and popular profiles here in the echo-chamber, and take some time to verify whether they are actually boots-on-the-ground with these issues, or who just like Likes, and the sound of their own voice - and the “ka-ching” of sponsorship

Once the Resistance (tm) dollars dried up, Li simply and without any hesitation moved on to the next money-making sector, joining team White-Grievance (tm) and Project 2025 (tm).

It is hard to counter this combo of cynicism and lying without bonafide candidates who can throw a punch.
If we want to beat a right wing that weaponizes (justified!) public anger at Big Pharma to destroy the social safety net + spread conspiracies, we can’t run Dems who take money from Big Pharma.

I meant the kinds of people who seem to connect with the electorate. Some connect by lying (bad ones), and some connect by speaking truth to power, even to their own party (these are good ones). There are other issues too, but my point is “the good guys” need even more scrappy fighters on our side

We also love populists. The problem is we keep electing the bad ones. We need more good ones to run, but Establishment Ds don’t seem to like, you know, winning.

I don’t know how people juggle more than one. I’m more of a serial social user - but if this one doesn’t work out, I might have to rethink this whole internet thing, and just retire to a quiet cabin somewhere

The ban/mute Subscription lists maintained by several users are an absolute gawdsend. Trolls, magats, and even snarky profiles all go Poof with one click

For better or worse I’m using platforms like to filter news now. I know he’s gonna fill the pipeline again, soon. I haven’t watched or read any of the outlets that, either through ignorance or intent, platformed the bad guys while cutting good ones off at the knees.

3/x And, imagine a platform where the Community can moderate ads and vendors, to help prevent disinformation (political ads), or sus retail ads selling junk. So many possibilities *if* the platform doesn’t let money decide “winners” based solely on their ad-spend
