Trump speaks without details, and you can’t really know what he’s thinking. “You know, maybe, some say, we’ll see.”
It’s also dangerous though to predict outcomes weeks or months out, as some of the worst predictions don’t actually come true.

I had no idea.

Experts are “expert” for a reason and they deserve to be listened to.

Why would high schools close? Federal money is usually only 10% or so of the school district’s budget.

This is a troll, people! It’ll never happen.

When my parents went to school, districts were measured by how many former students were either employed or in college five years after graduation.
That’s the most important goal of a school - graduate students who are productive adults.

Heckle? Naw, that just looks juvenile. The base may love it, but how does this attract anyone?

Oh no. I wonder if we can get a petition of Trump voters and with enough signatures, we can put Kamala back in charge.

Yeah but not before the election when it might have mattered.
Maybe it wouldn’t have mattered, but if video of Trump were being intentionally hidden then we’d all be as ballistic as MAGA was on this clipped interview.

But didn’t 60 Minutes do the censoring? Why didn’t they release the full video or transcript when they got caught “improving” a Kamala answer.

Elon is technically in charge of that Digital Office that Obama made, but he’s not accepting a paycheck. I trust the young DOGE boys are getting paid through that office.

Amazing that there was no law or agency that protected consumers before, and there will be no agency to protect them afterwards.

That’d be great! I’m not sure if you’ll get what you expect. Presuming fraud exists, we could presume everything NOT legitimately accounted for is fraud.

Yes! Everybody that isn’t 100% behind our agenda needs to be cancelled.
Everybody appreciates a bullly to force them into compliance.

“Everything possible to lower prices…”
Wouldn’t that mean opening up our oil fields and producing as much fossil fuel energy as possible? It is much cheaper than any green energy.
I agree it’s a short term cost increase, but the changes over the long term are still to be seen.

The Election made the difference.
Did the DOJ do anything to sway Biden voters to flip to Trump? Did just enough people believe there was Weaponization of the DOJ?

Good! We need to clean up this understanding.
Never understood how an amendment meant to correct discrimination against slaves turned into all that it has become.

Just seems the rich keep getting richer no matter WHO is in power. Are you trying to say there hasn’t been a coordinated effort for the rich to use DC in order to get power?
Just saying it’s not a new thing.

Afraid the Orange Man Bad drama for the last near-decade is wearing thin on the American people. There’s no patience for fighting everything he does.

This federal employee is writing in the New York Times? That speaks to a very narrow audience, and certainly not those who will be working for this administration.

It’s about picking battles.
All-Trump, All-Bad, All-The-Time has become tiresome and stale. How else do you explain his win?
People are burned out with drama.

Bannon’s gonna lose that fight. He’s always been too full of himself. I don’t even think it’s schtick.
