Valid! I was a 6am faithful for that very reason. But that doesn't work anymore with kids. I'm soon just going to cave and buy a bike or treadmill to have at home.

That's why you go to the gym in the mornings. Place is half full at best, and it's all senior citizens and middle-aged women doing nothing but cardio. No high school hockey dicks and crossfitters to be seen.

I'm fine with it. Pros: Well earned, solid cap hit, eliminates the potential revolving door of goalies (Toronto the last few yrs) Cons: Not loving the term, feels like an indictment on Demko's long-term prognosis and Silovs potential.

It's a solid deal when you factor in the cap increase, term being a sticking point with players and his performance. But part of me is reading into this as an indictment on Demko's health and Silovs' potential.

It'll be interesting to see what this deal means for the futures of Demko and Silovs!

On top of leaving the likes of Thompson, Chabot, and Scheifele off the roster. Yet here we have Drance getting on like this was the best possible team Canada could have sent.

Pretty bad look that he only played 10 minutes on Monday with Mika Zibanejad out injured.

Yikes! I get wanting to try and change things up. Men's cuts are a creature of habit type deal. But at least ask first! My sister-in-law is my barber and it's great! I trust her to do whatever, and if it's something new, she'll say, "If you hate it, I'll bring the clippers to supper on Sunday!"

He didn't even ask to try something different? That's bold!

The tariffs haven't even started yet, but the keeners and dipshits are out in full force as usual.

I live out of market (East Coaster), and I can say it's almost cheaper to fly to a sunbelt market and have glass seats vs. flying within Canada and sitting in the upper bowl. It's crazy!

People want to stretch their disposable income as far possible to get the most value/enjoyment/comfort out of it. Personally, if I have to jump through 3 or 4 hoops and on top of potentially doing without to knock down the bill to justify the cost, it's not worth it to begin with.

You should be able to get a hardware set at Crappy Tire! PS: Read the earlier replies, and I also thought this was cheese on first glance 🀣

I don't think 2010 will ever be topped. Fantastic tournament from start to finish! As neat as it was to go back to back in 2014, that was hands down the most boring international hockey I've seen in my lifetime.

It was infuriating at the time, but looking back on it now, Benning's ineptitude and "We ran out of time" soundbite, I actually find a little bit funny! πŸ˜…

I always find that people who try to create their own nickname tend to be a little douchey, and the name has no rhyme or reason to it.

I've been there many times! Godspeed!

He's getting paid $11.6 million a year and is getting outscored by Pius Suter, Conor Garland, and Kiefer Sherwood.

Textbook Chester. When he's not using the sum of cell F23 and O97 to argue that a good player is actually bad, he's cheerleading box outs, saucer passes, and clearing attempts to argue a bad player is actually playing good.

Appreciate the optimism, but color me skeptical. We've been down the oversized, puck moving, physical, defensive prospect road before and and the guy plays in the bottom pairing in the KHL.

It legit sounds like a nickname that a drunken Jonathan Dunne dubbed someone at a house party in 2014.

Is there a Cannabis Czar? How about Cocaine Czar? Fuck it let's get a Xanax Czar while we're at it!

I just don't understand the thought process of guys who do it, given that almost every single woman says it's creepy and a massive turn-off.

If the trip was something they were both down for doing, then yeah, cost splitting for sure. If he came up with the plan on his own as little surprise, then no cost splitting. Me and my wife were both poor as shit when we got together, so we split costs as much as we could. πŸ˜…

I'm convinced everyone is getting their ass kicked this week, myself included!

This scenario happened in baseball a couple of seasons ago with the Chicago White Sox. Got back to the cusp of contention with a solid core in place and had it all fall apart. It's bleak as fuck right now in that org. If that's any indication of what's to happen in Van... it's going to be rough!

Speaking as someone who is currently experiencing this, there's not enough money in this world you could pay me to constantly put up with co-workers' laziness, lack of initiative, and no regard for anybody else. πŸ™ƒ

I'll throw Pius Suter on the list. Saw his name thrown around a bit about not performing. Guy's a 25-30 point utility player that can slot into the top 6 on very short stints. He's got 22 points so far. The guy was never meant to be a long-term option in the top 6, but here we are.

Why is it that we only ever hear "on pace for" thrown around when a player is not living up to expectations?

My dad stepped in and helped run his buddies' electrical business when he got sick. Industrial jobs started drying up, so they dabbled in the scattered residential job, and it was a bigger nuisance than what it was worth.

It feels like Mastercraft's quality has fallen off a cliff, too. Dad "gifted" me a few well-used tools, all chorded, but you can't kill them 25+ years later! The newer ones look insanely cheap and like they'd fall apart if you sneezed on it.

Firing Tocchet would put this core at 4 coaches in 8 years. Good luck with having a quality candidate pool with that stat.

The follow-up to that one is always, "What if they trade him and he pops off, they'd never forgive themselves!". Maybe if he was "popping off" with the Canucks he wouldn't of been dealt.

It's impossible to speculate what's going on behind closed doors, but the players just look completely and totally deflated out there. I think they'll limp into the playoffs, but the issues are still going to be following them like a black cloud for the rest of the season.

It's brutal! My wife and I typically go 1 for 1 on closure days out of fairness. Luckily, my MIL is retiring in April, and my wife will be on Mat leave come March, so we're in the homestretch! 🀞
