By basically saying "oh no, it's not your fault at all, your child is at fault for all of this, nothing you could do about it."

Similarly, Oedipal Complex from Freud came from him not wanting to piss off his rich clients by telling them "you've traumatized your children with these unhealthy behaviors and now they have issues" because then they'd stop paying them. There were real mental illnesses he misdiagnosed to keep $$.

the way to stop people doing nazi shit is to create an environment where doing nazi shit immediately gets you jumped by six guys, do not pass go, ass kicking first and ask questions later. every goth & punk bar on god's gay earth already figured this out in the 90s

If I remember correctly, Samurai Pizza Cats is an American rewrite of anime also. Not sure, but I do believe they got the rights, altered some cells and wrote new scripts for the animation.

Commissioned a similar piece at this point over a decade ago of an angel and a demon getting interrupted with the demon looking shocked and the angel being protective and confident with a "excuse me, privacy?" sort of expression on her face.

Tsui Hark's Chinese Ghost Story remains one of my absolute favorite movies. A young tax collector arrives in a rough and tumble town, pushed to sleep in a haunted temple, he meets a woman's ghost who had been sent to steal his soul but couldn't bring herself to do it.

Damir Milos is a young man whose been a soldier long before he started working for his current employers (with a commander trying to push him to regular life). He finds civilian life thoroughly uncomfortable. & two girls are each trying to set him up with the other girl (eventual plan is polycule)

You don't need to be Tolkein. Yes, his world was beautiful, and Paolini's too, but you are not them, nor must you ever be. There's a great story waiting to be told, and you're about to collaboratively write it with some of your favourite people. Go build a world worth saving. They'll save it.

There are several movies titled "'til there was you" but I'm thinking of the RomCom from 1997 that featured the twist that the two leads never meet until near the very end of the movie. The movie showcases the toxicity of RomCom tropes as the leads mature past them before they meet as better people
