I have never taken an enneagram test (also, I didn't know how to spell that word and got it right on my first try, so I'm going to pat myself on the back real hard). Should I? I'm not obsessed with personality tests because everyone's a lot of different personality types. But is it worth knowing?

Every year I think about how awesome it is that my hometown celebrates Juneteenth, and it has since before I was born (6 years before I was born!). When I moved to Texas (TEXAS!) in 2014, I was surprised the city I lived in had absolutely no formal Juneteenth celebration. They didn't even know it.

Because I lived with one full novel in my head for more than 20 years, I find it weird to be plotting out the backbone of a new, unrelated story I've only been thinking about fully for, oh, 20 minutes? It's flexing atrophied muscles. I like the feeling, though. Coming up with character names? Cool!

Not that anyone asked, because no one did, but I support voter ID laws. In a completely related matter, I support governments with voter ID laws on the books providing FREE picture ID to EVERY SINGLE RESIDENT upon their completion of a voter registration card. Doing one without the other is wrong.
