March to preserve our Democracy in Jefferson City MO

There is nothing comforting about “I’m just as scared as you” coming from the legislative branch that’s supposed to keep checks and balances on the executive. While she thought it was relatable, it is actually mortifying.

If they planned this from the start like they now claim—it’s not leadership. It’s market manipulation. Telling your followers to buy low, flipping trade policy mid-hearing, then the market soars? That’s not a coincidence. It’s profit-by-chaos. What else could it be?

I had to remind Marjorie Taylor Greene and our Oversight Chairman James Comer that RFK Jr. caused a measles outbreak and that he’s an anti-vax conspiracy theorist. And Rep. Greene is the biggest anti-vaxxer in Congress.

🔥WATCH: “Stop acting like you don’t know what this is all about.” Rep. Hakeem unleashes on @AronMaberry for 1 of 2 his anti-DEI bills (he claims are actually fighting discrimination🤔) McKenzie, Glynn, @votegloriaj.bsky.social also made some Maberry juice. Full: www.instagram.com/reel/DIP_cUj...

McGovern: "How is any company supposed to forecast for their future, build a plant, hire workers, if they have no idea what the hell this president is gonna do in his next tweet? ... I need a neck brace to be able to get through all this."

I don’t care who is in the White House–ending a critical home loan assistance program that serves 15,000 veterans is cruel and disrespectful. Without an alternative in place, veterans who served our country are now at risk of losing their homes. Watch my remarks ⬇️

No. You’ve been watching stock market fraud.

How many times will the GOP bail out billionaires while working Americans foot the bill? Tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy. Special treatment for corporations. Market games that leave families behind. This isn’t about helping people it’s about protecting power and profit at any cost.

Republicans can’t even defend their own actions—they’re too busy trying to justify the unjustifiable. I’ll always fight for what’s right. But how can we have real progress when the other side refuses to even start a conversation? Now’s the time to push back—with action

Katherine Clark: "What they are doing here is wrecking the infrastructure of Social Security so they can rob the benefit ... it is an outrageous ripoff of the American taxpayer that we are seeing from this administration."

CNBC's Steve Liesman doesn't mince words about the way the White House calculated its tariff rates: "Nobody ever heard of this formula. Nobody has ever used this formula. So I’m sorry, but the conclusion seems to be the president kind of made this up as he went along... these are off the charts."

Epic!

I guess no one was paying attention during Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

At one of his frequent press conferences (because he loves being on TV), I'd love it if some reporter piped up with, "What do you say to people who call you a know-nothing narcissistic asshole, Mr. President?"

Stephen Miller is a evil little liar who obviously did not listen to one moment of Cory Booker’s time speaking. Stephen Miller needs to just go fuck off.

I'm voting NO on Frank Bisignano, the Administration’s nominee to head the Social Security Administration. He has made a name for himself in business slashing and burning to find efficiencies. Social Security is no place to slash and burn. It's a contract with the American people.

Still reeling from last week’s Signal incident, Waltz and a top aide have now been reportedly caught sharing sensitive information over their personal Gmail accounts.

Journalists: is it common practice for an elected official to reach out to you via email to say “I heard you filed a FOIA request about my campaign and I wanted to know why”? I am fairly new at this and just wanted to get a sense of whether this was common practice in Delaware or elsewhere.

Murphy: "Newsflash: These guys are incompetent. They don't know what they're doing. We hired a weekend Fox News host with no diplomatic or management experience with a checkered personal history of abuse and alcoholism to be our chief national security official. And it's going very badly."

You know what to do. 😁

This is one fugly white boy!!!

JUST IN: American Oversight is suing Hegseth, Gabbard, Ratcliffe et al, saying their messaging via Signal is a violation of the Federal Records Act. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Wyden: "I'm of the view that there ought to be resignations, starting with the national security adviser and the secretary of defense."

"I really tried to hear him defend his actions in good faith, but by the end of their discussion, it just felt impossible for me to avoid this very deep sense of dangerous foreboding. Big ‘tempting fate’ energy in the worse way. Honestly scary." charlotteclymer.substack.com/p/calls-grow...

“If allowed to snub federal courts, the Trump regime will have morphed into a dictatorship. What else can you call a regime that snatches potentially innocent people off the street, drops them off into a foreign hellhole, rejects judicial review, and boasts about it?” New from Jen Rubin.

I don't know if you saw Chuck Schumer with Chris Hayes tonight...but....I have to believe they could have found someone more interesting to fill that spot with than Chuck. I don't want to hear a Goddamn thing from Chuck Schumer.
