I like words. Long words. Words that sound good. Made up words. Pleasing combinations of words. Grammar is for losers.
I like other stuff too like geekery, travel, photography, allotmenteering, food/cookery/baking. I blog at https://Whitemore.com

Wish I shared your hope at this stage. A win could change the momentum. Trouble is our problem isn't other teams. No goals or wins means other teams are irrelevant

These are classic opposition populists. Once in power they have no answers and the voters they lied to will obviously see that. Only surprise might be how quickly the disaster is unfolding for the MAGA faithful. Gravity hit early.

At the start of the season we had supply but no finisher. We get a finisher and the suppliers are all injured. Now we exit the Jan window with lack of quality, mounting injuries and zero confidence. Don't see how we turn this around. It's game over

Over the years we've often been poor but there has usually been some spark - one quality striker or a hungry emerging youth player who would create something out of nothing and get us points. Unless Roofe is that player we don't have one. It's going to be a depressing grind until the inevitable end

Maybe but draws aren't enough

Europe needs to show the US that they have conceded being relevant. We just fill the gaps best we can, assume the initiative and don't look back. Trump's power play will be a busted flush.

It's simply about their personal enrichment. That's it.

The game is rife with it. Fans routinely spew out this stuff without challenge. If a player makes a mistake they are a disgrace and they need to man up. Don't like hearing players reinforce this toxic nonsense

No he's not. He was our only "striker" the first half of the season but he's barely even an out and out striker. What I meant was he took a good position but the ball came at him very quickly and he couldn't reach the ball in time. Miss looked worse than it was.

Plymouth have been tanked several times but then they pick up wins. Points more valuable than goal difference

Yes, and we shouldn't slash our wrists at this result. Players have been asked to do things differently after just 1 session. It will get better than this. Got to keep the faith

Inequality has wrecked the lives of the ordinary British person. Labour has decided to turn blue in the face of Farage and are not going to help the ordinary Brit. I have voted Green for years, disillusioned by Labour in the 90's. Just decided to join.

So much childhood trauma affecting people throughout their lives. This stuff must never be normalised.

In an era of coordinated misinformation & misdirection plans conducted by private monied interests in order to seize power and wealth we needed a neutral and objective public broadcaster to cover the right topics in truly balanced fashion. Their epic failure is a colossal betrayal of British people
