It's genuinely harrowing to see an inspiring writer and clearly caring person harassed along with her friends and family to such an extent that she lashes out, and then to have that reaction, ANY reaction, used as justification to escalate the harassment.

I always feel like the "cisexual trans vs transexual" distinction is almost completely meaningless. We have the same interests, face the same oppression, and have the same political goals. What is the purpose in differentiating, other than to whine about people who aren't My Type of Trans?
