Then what is anyone else doing? I’m not saying Bernie & AOC are my only picks to lead the party, as I said in my reply to someone else, I’m open to choices. But I’ve moved further left since supporting Hillary in 16 and Kamala in 20/24, and I think the party could stand to move further left.

Although the Democrats don’t really have numbers in neither the House or Senate to stop Trump right now unfortunately, I think getting out to the people and holding these big rallies is positive, and gets people’s energy up. Even if their rallies are performative to you, at least it’s something.

I supported both Kamala in 2024 and Clinton in 2016, and was glad to do. I’ve been pushed more to the left since both of their losses, and I personally think the democrats needs someone more left of center at the head of the party. Bernie and AOC are here now, but I’m open to others.

Two things can be true: Sanders made mistakes in his 2016-2020 run, but also he and AOC are the best things going for a moribund Democratic Party right now. No candidate is perfect, but he and AOC is where the energy to fight this current administration is coming from.
