When you spent half of March thinking "let's join in on the #FantasyIndiesApril tag when it starts!", only to completely forget about it for several days as April starts 😅 I'll be catching up later today once I finish revising this chapter!

Revising chapter 10, and I encountered the first sentence where I think there's a typo, but I also have no idea what my former self meant exactly 😂(wtf is "a weight of spread"??) "He strode slowly, each of his steps seeming to carry a weight of spread through the otherwise quiet room."

So it's autism awareness month. Personally, I hate that. We're aware of autism. Being aware doesn't change the stigma. It should be autism acceptance month instead. We're not a problem to be aware of, we're humans who need to be accepted. Especially now as the anti vaccine rhetoric escalates.

I participated in - and won - NaNoWriMo in 2022 and 2023. Thought it was a cool community. Stopped participating after the shitshow with their stance on AI last year. As did many others; forums haven’t been used since June last year. Based on what I’ve read, this was a long time coming.

Today I visited quite possibly the most beautiful medieval spaces in the country- the church of St Mary, Kempley. It's famous with medieval building/art nerds like me because of its collection of intact early 12th century wall paintings. I didn't expect to see it surrounded with flowers 🌼
