It is not a good film by any measure - the pacing is all over the place, the plot doesn't really make sense, and some bits are clearly just the product of too many drugs.
But it is an amazing film, and worth watching as an experience. Do need to be in the right mood though.

Allowing enemies of the USA into the White House - what cheek! A clear breach of security. How dare they suggest such a thing.

My theory is that the Massive Ordnance Air Burst was first and a backronym from Mother Of All Bombs. And then they did the penetrating version.

Excuse me but at least Imperial Stormtroopers wore a very visible uniform. You knew what they stood for. Orderly tyranny!
You didn't have to worry about some idiot farmboy and a shoot-first scofflaw bundling you into a clapped-out deathtrap and smuggling you to some noisy greasy hellhole.

Wow. Love the style. Pincer movement with DB, we'll have those kids safely woke in no time.

What if the author just went senile and forgot where he was going with this plot line? All terrifying setup and no deus ex machina.

In the event of WW3 I would absolutely get behind the president. Excellent ablative meat-shield and good slow-neutron sink.

Can't decide which would be more absurd - playing it at the original 5 FPS, or a modern 144 FPS.

Walking along the riverbank one day, saw a guy setting up a Telescopic Contraption. Asked him what he was watching. "Downy Woodpecker - I'm getting great pictures" he said. "Oh neat - they come to the suet feeder by my window when I'm making coffee in the morning" I said, like an unthinking asshole.

This is absolutely not true! My darling girlcat lies in the crook of my knee trying to figure out how to kill me.

Fair point. It's one of those "this shouldn't be necessary, but I'm glad it exists" things.

And of course (I'm sure you know this) - before 1977 the US passport didn't even have a "gender" field. Because... why? "Is this you" is the only question that matters.

That's clearly Bigfoot. I mean come on - how big do you need it to be? Clue's in the name.

See if it had been an ellipse with the golden ratio radii, aligned with the galactic plane on the solstice - OK now THAT is from space. A circle? Pfff.

Unfortunately this is standard upper army speak these days - they talk absolute nonsense. It's what happens if you take the intersection of MBA-speak and military-speak - it's basically just kindergarten vocab, so you get this gibberish.

If I'm reading your graph right...
new.y = (position.y - light.y) * your_factor + light.y
If "your_factor" is 1.0, then this does absolutely nothing.
if "your_factor" is 0.5 then the light will be stretched vertically by a factor of 2.
your_factor=0, light will be an infinite vertical column.

These 2A people are nuts, but on this very very specific issue they happen to be correct. Having a suppressor on a weapon should not in any way change the fact that it should be registered and licensed.

My choice of fact is not accidental. I was having this exact conversation with my artists a few days ago. They were like "we want a forest - why does it go so slowly when we put down more than a hundred trees in Unity, even on my fast PC."
