I think I booked this, but can't find any confirmation. Who would the email have come from? Who would I reach out to if I wanted to check?

I didn't even bother this time. It's a bloodbath and not worth the hassle.

Maybe you could slum it too and do the Glasgow one? I live in Aberdeenshire, so it's a bit of a trek to get back.

Shame, I can't make the Edinburgh timeslot, so I'm slumming it at the Glagow one instead.

Thanks for the recommendation. I managed to pick the first 6 volumes up for less than the price of a paperback! I'm not ordinarily a huge comic / graphic novel reader, but this caught my attention.

I pre-ordered mine through Inkstone Books. Looking forward to reading it - once I get through the last two parts of McDowell's 'Blackwater'

One of my favourites of last year. I bought it on the strength of the cover (I know, I know), and absolutely loved it. The relationship between Kaylo and Tayen was absolutely top tier - funny, sweet and dark.

Writing: slowly plodding through the final chapter of my WIP. I've drafted this from multiple angles so much that I can't remember what I've included in this version. Reading: Just finished Howling Dark and moving on to (shock, horror) a non-SFF book! Gravel Heart by Abdulrazak Gurnah.

Book 2 is a real step up, too. I devoured them both over a few weeks. Can't wait for book 3

I thought as much. I missed out on the others and can't afford to pay the 🤯 resale costs

Do you know how many copies will go on sale? Will it likely be available just for those who bought OFAB?

The combination sounds awesome, but I'd have to go with Devadasis because I had to look it up as I wasn't familiar with the concept. Sent me on a fascinating research rabbit hole

So many...Abercrombie is the gold standard for me. I love Mike Shackle, Michael R Fletcher, and R Scott Bakker.

Can I ask about DuckDuckGo? I know it is better in terms of privacy, etc, but do we know who owns it and how ethical it is?
