I haven't read anything about them, but my initial thought were that these are like awards/plaques for indie wrestlers, not something they defend.

I also wouldn't be oppossed to them taking a break from eachother and then do a big unsanctioned stipulation without the title in a few months. DoN? All In?
But if it's about the championship and who's the better wrestler, then sooner would be better.

Those two stips would be good.
I'm very partial to an unsanctioned stip to close a show. Dog Collar would be my pick. But Iron Woman or 2/3 falls would actually be a more unique blowoff for an AEW feud. They haven't done one of those in a while. Plus it would make sense story-wise, like you said.

AEW has several wrestlers who use roll ups and other pins like that as their finish. I just think people were expecting a different type of finish/match for the angle they've been telling. No one to blame on that end.
One good thing about the Grand Slam finish is that it leaves room for more imo.
