Even the studies that are actually about trans people, most of them are looking into possible side effects of gender affirming hormone therapy. You would think that with how much they talk about this, they would support studying it. But it's not about facts, it's just about hating.

Something I used in my research for a paper a few years back... always informative about vaccine effectiveness.

It's also a more strongly typed alternative, again, IMHO. The whole thing seems like choosing the lesser evil, anyway

I assume then it's not your function, or at least it's not feasible to refactor the code so this isn't necessary. In this case, my next question is: can you pass the actual module object instead? You can get the path from it (I think) and it would be less tied to global state, IMHO

Is rethinking the whole thing because why on god's green earth have we found ourselves in this situation an option? Like, no judgment, sometimes there are valid reasons to find oneself in such situation. But it's a bad situation.

I think dataframes in general don't. Difference is, in Pandas, you usually just get a lot more memory usage than you expected, while Polars, and I think Spark, will blow up sooner And yes, not blaming, just root-cause analyzing XD

Sounds more like a Polars problem than Python's? I've found Polars and Arrow stuff to be a bit more rigid than other Python tools, which is understandable, since they need to do their own shenanigans for performance reasons and stuff.

Books of blood. Não é favorito, pelo contrário, mas não quero sofrer sozinho.

I fully expected it will be supported eventually, but like, if your database thing can't do views, maybe wait a bit to release it. On the other hand, what do I know.

Damn, not even views?
