Time for a dry subject: dehumidifiers youtu.be/j_QfX0SYCE8

Hey, I appreciate how supportive everyone's been since coming out but, like, can the few of y'all going into comments correcting people on my name please stop doing that? Most of these people haven't even heard yet, so saying stuff like "You should really start calling her Claire" isn't what I want.

This is a public service announcement:

If you're protesting this weekend, know your rights when interacting with law enforcement, including immigration agents.

Last night, Democrats overperformed hugely in Florida (no win there, but it's borderline impossible to net a 30-point overperformance, so we'll take 15 points in federal level nationalized races any day), and WON in Wisconsin, despite Musk's fuckery! That's not mentioning many downballot wins!

For those who are actually curious what living with a modern EV (which isn't a Tesla) is actually like... youtu.be/3GUQdrpduo0

Pushback works, part gazillion: "Here are the facts: DOGE moved forward with plans to close multiple field offices. Then, without public notice or explanation, they reversed their plans. Now they are trying to pretend like they were never planning to close the offices." popular.info/p/how-the-so...

Hey. Hey. Y’all see that? #nature #trans #transgirl

Happy trans day of visibility, all. Been busy, but I wouldn't want this day to pass without saying I will always fight for the rights of my trans siblings, and I only hope you will all join me in that fight.

Hey, happy Trans day of visibility from me and from Prism! I hope you walk with light and protection today! 💙💗🤍💗💙🌈

“My opponent Elon Musk” is perfect. Vote, Wisconsin!

just for the record, I have a zero-tolerance policy towards transphobia and if I see it in my mentions it's an instant block.

Just about everyone's pissed off about today. But I want to point out a few important details: 1.) Of the 250+ Democrats in Congress, less than 5% voted for this. It's unfortunate that was enough. But it's at worst an indictment of a handful, not of the whole party.

Just a friendly reminder — Republicans control the House, the Senate, and the White House.       If there is a government shutdown, it will be because Republicans failed to govern responsibly.

A critically important thing to understand: Many Republican legislators are shit-tier trolls. If they propose a bill to do something, you MUST ask yourself these questions before reacting, or you'll just be falling for the same old troll bait as any garbage internet asshole produces-

To be clear: a tariff is a tax.

So there's been a lot of discontent with the Democratic response last night. Let me go over some things here, and try to explain not just what they did, but also what the structure of resistance to this admin needs to be. This will be a lengthy thread. Buckle up. 🧵

Politico Playbook spinning a Third Way retreat as a Democratic Party Official Response for rage clicks and getting them in massive quantity speaks to a systemic issue with Bluesky. It’s just insanely easy for them and Axios et al to do this, and they know it, which means they’ll just keep doing it.

Last night's house vote was discouraging, but not unexpected. The good news? There's about thirty more steps before any cuts actually happen. If you've got a GOP representative, make some calls, make some noise, be angry at the ones who deserve it- every single Republican.

I’ve eaten a bowl of peas. Peas are hilarious. They’re so small and they don’t know what they’re doing. But we love them.

This vote was to start the process of the cuts. It WILL come back for a final vote. There are some chances to slow or potentially stop it. Need constant pressure on GOP Focus on GOP swing seats & key committees. Energy & Commerce is where the Medicaid fight will go down. Ways&Means for tax fight.

Been doing a lot offline over the past couple weeks, taking some time to relax this week. Anyway, upcoming elections to note: Wisconsin state supreme court and superintendent, Florida's 1st and 6th congressional, and a wild slate of local elections on April 1st. Those are the biggest, at least!
