I watched Requiem For a Dream in a film class, and was depressed for a week. I think in part because I wanted to cry but held it in during class. My coworker asked me what was wrong later that day I was so out of it. Well-crafted but devastating to my soul 😭

The 2006 Black Christmas is an annual rewatch because it is so appropriately Christmasy. It's a Wonderful Knife became an instant favorite last year as well - nice to have one that isn't as mean and actually leaves you on a happy note

I'm with you on Black Christmas 2019! I really didn't care for it on my first watch, but after a couple of rewatches I see what they were going for and really appreciate what they did well. They were hindered by a very rushed start to finish timeline to create the film imho

Dang I have such a soft spot for Poltergeist III and somehow missed this episode! Time to fix that gap. I live in Chicago and didn't realize people actually lived in the Hancock building until I watched that. And the mirror/evil doubles stuff is so creepy!

I'm still second guessing myself 😆 - I focused on ones with a big impact that really solidified my love for horror, but if it was "horror films that have my vibe" I'd probably do Fear Street and some other picks

Oh so much peeking through my fingers I was coming up with different "hands over eyes" configurations on the spot! Almost tried the Longlegs routine but was worried about accidently poking my own eyes 😂
