These executive orders on banning federally funded entities from recognizing trans people or disallowing them from using the bathroom are not self-executing or immediately enforceable. They require formal rule making at a minimum. They are a scare tactic. Ignore and do not comply in advance.

My docs changed when I turned 18 and turns out my old doc (at a queer specialty clinic) was underdosing me for 2 years and lying about it, even when I hesitantly (scared i would be taken off) raised health concerns i was experiencing. And i’m lucky when it comes to starting hrt young in the US.

regular PSA as always that when you doctor says "please do blood labs in the middle of the cycle" you should smile, nod, and then do labs at the end of the cycle. mid cycle data is completely useless and is actively harmful to your health for the levels that most endocrinologists mandate per WPATH.

These are always funny cause if I craved validation I sure as hell wouldn’t have transitioned. Like I came out at 13 and lost my entire friend group and was sent death threats for 9 months. I was banned from doing the sport that formed a majority of my support system after I started HRT at 16.

This might be a “being too woke” moment for me, but I think people should stop saying it was never about kids. Sure it was never only about kids but (1) even if it was, it would be bad and (2) kids (especially queer kids) being denied autonomy over their identity is a key part of this process.
