I suspect that it is not so much that people are in favor of murder so much as this is a political moment in which we are confronted at every turn with evidence that the evil and powerful face no real consequences for their actions And uh, that one guy met some consequences

I haven’t watched the ASG since Tatum’s first so I don’t have a take on what’s wrong or how to “fix” it, but the fact that fans are clamoring for stakes & competitiveness out of a just for fun event is indicative of a wider problem, which is that they also aren’t getting it out of the reg. season.
