I think Trump-as-Putin-asset is not unfounded but clearly functions for many as a story to tell themselves that preserves American innocence. Trump does not need to be controlled by Putin to still benefit Putin because both are authoritarian illiberal nationalists

there is no provision in this TX bill for people who have had SRS so this is state mandated menopause and osteoporosis for trans people who may be in their 20s or 30s this policy is designed to kill people it won’t accidentally kill people it is designed to kill as many trans people as possible

@hrc.org is selling stonewall merch after having cut their trans justice initiative and after having laid off 47 staff members (predominantly trans, non-binary, and BIPOC) further proof that love to commodify and profit off of trans people, but fail to uplift us or support us meaningfully. Shameful.

The reporting on the trans travel visa ban is criminal. It does NOT only affect transgender athletes. The cables CLEARLY say it affects all trans people. They can reject visas on point 6 of anyone who is requesting a visa that does not match their assigned sex at birth.
