#TeslaTakedown is growing and this is our biggest weekend yet! Close to 100 peaceful protests in cities in the US and several overseas. Join a protest or create one in your town at Teslatakedown.com! This is a people's movement and you are being heard! Sell your Tesla! Dump your stock! Stop Musk!

This really shouldn't need to be said, but you aren't getting under Elon Musk's skin by paying to use his website and posting criticism of him. By doing so you give the impression that 'both sides' have a voice on the platform. Just stop.

Can we stop going on Elon Musk's website, paying for a blue check and then saying how much we hate him please? This isn't rebellious or 'trolling', it's just driving engagement on his site and giving people a reason to stay.

In future generations, when your children and grandchildren look back on this moment, they are not going to ask about the price of eggs. They are going to ask you what you did. Not what you felt. Not what you paid. But what you did. And I want to be able to say I did everything I possibly could.

Kamala was right. And it only took him less than 30 days to roll over for Putin.

🏆

How to beat Elon Musk Step 1: Go to X dot Com Step 2: Create an account Step 3: Pay for a subscription to increase your reach Step 4: Make it premium (you need grok for help) Step 5: Make a post mocking Elon Step 6: Link it to your friends/audience Step 7: Brag about how mad this will make him

Yes. This happens over and over and then everyone pretends it didn't

How Democratic influencers (and politicians) look when they complain about Elon's influence but simply have no choice but to continue posting on Twitter.

Just saw someone saying “please share so I can have more followers so I can finally stop posting on Twitter where I have a lot of followers” May I suggest two simple steps to achieve this, 1. Stop posting there and delete your account there 2. Post here

If you still post on Twitter you are complicit in lining Elon Musk's pockets and enabling what he's doing.

This is genuinely an important article. The two main lessons from Hungary appear to be: DO NOT WAIT DO NOT UNDERREACT Authoritarians like Orban and Trump rely on opposition being unwilling to believe that what is happening is actually happening. That’s their window. www.vox.com/politics/398...

I think the Dem base’s anger at elected Dems for their bizarre, paralyzed accommodationism is building much faster than anyone realizes. Pressure rising, explosion may be imminent

Trump has signed an executive order declassifying files regarding JFK, RFK, and MLK Jr. Weird how he didn't include Epstein in that list.

How to delete Facebook, Instagram, and Threads

I still believe the "anti-imperialist" tankie crowd (including Jill Stein) won't say a word to condemn this.

I really don't like the tone of this post. America isn't a dictatorship YET, stop treating it like one and pre-emptively conceding power. There are plenty of avenues for people to take to stop overreach, it's not a foregone conclusion. Trump/Musk want to disenfranchise you, don't let them.

1. Hundreds of companies who pledged to stop donating to members of Congress who voted to overturn the election on 1/6/21 have broken their promise over the last 4 years But we've identified 10 promise keepers: Farmers Airbnb Expedia Nike Clorox General Mills Holland & Hart Qurate Whirlpool Lyft

America is in the midst of a fascistic takeover by a group of billionaires, and yet people still use one of the social media sites that they own. Sorry, but people need to have more personal responsibility and stop using that site.

I’m sorry but what are we doing here

"We cannot continue to participate in the social network feed of a man who proclaims the death of the media and therefore of journalists... X is a platform that no longer serves the public interest at all, but the special ideological and financial interests of its owner and his political allies"

This is huge. The EFJ represents over 295,000 journalists in 44 countries 👇 www.thelondoneconomic.com/news/media/e...

"The Left has no choice but to stay on Twitter" can be best understood as the writer saying "I worked very hard to get all my followers on Twitter and I don't want to have to start all over again somewhere else"

the wealthiest man in the world having his mom go on TV to say she finds it "degrading" when people refer to him as the wealthiest man in the world rather than "the genius of the world" is some real tinpot dictatorship state-run TV shit

Engaged consumers of information and news =bluesky

Traffic from Bluesky to @bostonglobe.com is already 3x that of Threads, and we are seeing 4.5x the conversions to paying digital subscribers.

Threads is an echo chamber on the left, Twitter on the Right, I hope this stays a sane normal place where some disagreement can be politely explored. Too much to ask??

Joe Rogan has called me a liar. This video is my response youtu.be/KR9_oLmoQVI?...

This reminds me of my fearful years on Weibo, China's Twitter counterpart, where talking in codes is the norm. Let Twitter die before Elon turns it into a totalitarian mind lab.
