He is going to go the way of Dennis Miller.

Unfortunately for me my industry is too small to bribe the Felon so we may not survive this ridiculous game.

From your lips to @marcelias.bsky.social ears.

I was thinking the same thing. Kind of like the orgs that help with travel costs for abortion care. A fund for women who struggle with the cost for obtaining a passport. I’d definitely help with that.

Ugh. You’re right of course!

Nah. I’m good.

And it’s cold comfort for those of us with small businesses that rely on goods from China.

I’m in that boat. 90% of my product is imported from China. We don’t have the cash on hand (still paying my EIDL loan from Covid disaster), nor do we have storage space for a bunch of extra inventory. I won’t be able to raise my prices 100% or more. I may lose the business I worked so hard to build.

Exactly right. As soon as sales start to slow, job numbers will tank. GDP growth will stall bc companies will have built up inventory that’s not moving. Prices will rise even on products not impacted by tariffs. Result- recession. Maybe depression.

My husband works on the power grid. They are in the process of de-commissioning coal fired plants all over the US. This isn’t some leftist woke policy. It’s bc coal doesn’t make sense economically. The Felon thinks millions of coal miners support him, but fewer than 45K currently employed in coal šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

A bit of extra toothpaste isn’t going to help me if my business fails and my retirement plans are upended.

I’ve said that about catholic priests my entire adult life.

2/2 …with the software. Ironically Dominion was so demonized on the right, that my R clerk has switched our county to now using Clear Choice. I’d like to know if that system was also copied by R clerks in the way that Dominion was.

1/2 I’m an election judge in a red county. My clerk gave copies of the hard drives from our Dominion software to Mike Lindell’s lawyer. He was never prosecuted because at the time there was no actual law against copying the election hard drives 🤯 I always thought the goal was to learn how to tamper

Then… Hakeem is POTUS! (Tesler Bro is not eligible). First thing Hakeem does is name Kamala VP. After she is sworn in, he promptly resigns and the house re-elects him speaker. Kamala is now POTUS and brings Tim Walz on as VP. It could happen.

In no hurry to sell the position bc he wants $$$$ for it, and Tesler Bro is the wrecking ball of his dreams. Next… a couple special elections happen and the house flips before the midterms. Hakeem takes the gavel. Next… The Felon tragically chokes on a Big Mac and goes to meet his maker in hell.

I agree! I’m the chief election judge in my very red county. Lauren Boebert is my rep 🤮. That doesn’t stop me from donating to D candidates, and helping their campaigns. We can’t let them go unopposed. We can’t just cede the territory. Our policies are better for rural America. Infrastructure is šŸ”‘

Hubs & I watched it. We both agreed that Schumer didn’t help himself in our eyes. Just seems completely unfit to meet this moment.

I’m not mad about it but I’d rather see Tesler go down in flames financially bc no one wants to be seen in a swasticar. Vandalism just pushes the pain onto insurance companies.
