It's not an ideal situation, but apparently the original really wasn't working, I would've preferred waiting for a whole 18 still, but the course is corrected for s2. (coming same time next year and that's the plan going forward, hopefully with more episodes)

ou contraire! The original (was supposed to be 18 episodes) only filmed 6 episodes worth of stuff, they used some of it and did reshoots for stuff with vanessa, muse ending etc. and shot 1,8,9 brand new. They started filming s2 pretty much as soon as ep 1 dropped.
