I’ll also be working on a trade commission alongside these two, but I won’t be sharing that full design until it’s finished heheheh… :3c

No problem!! LPS customs can be time consuming & take some patience, but are also very fun & rewarding. I definitely recommend! If you need some more tips definitely feel free to reach out! :D

I do water down the gloss sealants a little bit just to help them apply better, but not nearly as much as the paint or Mod Podge. I find I actually want thicker layers w/ the gloss to make it extra shiny :]

I seal the entire LPS with watered-down matte Mod Podge, then use a DecoArt gloss sealant for the eyes and nose (either the regular polyurethane gloss sealant, or the triple thick if I have some— it’s not always available)

She is! And her little accessories were hand sculpted as well :]

Thanks so much!! :D
I just use dollar store acrylics (DecoArt), but I water them down significantly. That way the layers are very thin, and don’t hold on to brush strokes so easily! I also use veeeery small brushes (even nail art brushes for the extremely tiny details!)

Overall, I'm very happy with how everything came together, and I'm glad I took the time to keep trying new methods until I loved the result! 🥰

Figuring out how to make her collar was a bit of a struggle, but after many failed or trashed attempts and a lot of different materials tested, I finally reached something I like.

I actually had her paint job finished around the same time as the other two (I worked on them all simultaneously), but her accessories set me back a little.

So glad I saw this. I got the exact same message, have been very suspicious but wasn’t 100% certain. Good to know I can disregard!

I'm also really proud of her little flower. I used some tiny fake flowers, which I painted with fabric paint. Also cut out a couple little fabric leaves to add that little pop of green!

AAAA THANK YOU!!!! It was nice to get back into customizing!! :D

This custom is made out of an authentic LPS #3 that I had previously painted when I was a teenager. I was unable to save it, as the factory paint had already been removed with acetone. I'm so glad that I could give this bunny a new life with this refreshed design!
