Just sent the government my accomplishments

Disability is a normal thing that happens when you’re alive. It is not a personal failing. It is not a failure of parenting. It is not a thing you earn. It just is. Bc we exist in bodies.

Best ways to support #artsorganizations during this time of uncertainty: A THREAD 1. All donations matter, even $1 donations. They all add up and donations account for more funding than the NEA on average anyways.

and if you want to support an organization that actually provides for prison-impacted musicians in a positive way, here's one i've supported when I've had the money to: www.freerrecords.com/story

Deal approved

There are moments in these deportation fights when I can just FEEL how pissed off they are that I’m Puerto Rican 😂 they want to threaten me with it so bad 😂

I'm really excited for this, actually

Okay @support.bsky.team : can we get something besides G-rated GIFs? We’ll be good. Promise. Also, love you.

I live in the same town as these. And this location is like 10 minutes away from me. 😮‍💨

Conductor and composer friends who might be versed in audio editing/quality things: can you message me? I’m in need of advice on a recording I got this week and would love to share in some form. Thanks in advance!

Do you ever wonder what you’d be like if you didn’t love music? The friends you wouldn’t have met. The moral compass you might not have picked up. The clothes you’d be wearing or the haircuts you’ve experimented with. The money you’d have spent differently on holidays instead of festival tickets.

Inspired by @tylermazone3.bsky.social A solo bass clarinet work about Trees is on the way

There has been a shift in the Trump team's language in their anti-DEI attacks. All of a sudden they started calling it "DEIA", with the A being "accessibility". If you don't think it's a coordinated effort to remove disabled people from every facet of life, well I have news for you.

This is how you do it. Thank you, @tupelopress.bsky.social!!!

As a disabled person, I am pretty sure the only things I’ve ever had “just handed to” me are inaccessibility, ableism, and more paperwork.

Something for me and my partner Christa... (who is not on Bluesky yet lol)

Super proud to announce that my piece “N.D.” won third prize in the Symphonic Wind Orchestra of North London composition contest and will have its UK premiere this summer! I’m very happy with this since disability/neurodiversity are not always included in equity/inclusion programming.

I’ll do this! Like away!

Mood

Just a quick little watercolor painting of Frogby

More composers and performers on bluesky:

2025 has been my least favorite decade so far.

Do you know why dogs float??? Because they're good buoys!!!

when we were kids we thought adults had everything under control - i can't imagine today's kids feel the same way? they can just look on tiktok or something and see that adults do not, in fact, have everything under control
