Everyone is always talking about system, but setting is what inspires me as a GM and a player! This is one reason why @wildmagepress.com is focused on creating locations, creatures, magic items, storylines, etc. for a variety of existing rulesets & encouraging folks to use it with any system.

Excellent work from Rowan Zeoli. Games allow us to recontextualize information that we maybe already knew and bring us closer to understanding something about the world. I don't know if I would ever feel comfortable playing this game, but I did like reading about what someone else got from it.

The best RPG is the one that has grown into the skin of your hands so that when you eat, you have to scoop the food up with the rules book and lick it off the pages. Doesn't matter which game. If it's merged with you and speaks in your dreams, that's the one. This shouldn't even be controversial.

My 5 level 12 players in #dnd 5e 2014 defeated an encounter with twice the budget of a deadly encounter for 5 level 20 players. Then took a short rest and went to the boss fight after that. What am I gonna do when they get to level 20???

Hot take: I think that platforms that allow for AI generated content really need to emphasize requirements for annotating that what you are seeing is AI generated. Additionally, with the appropriate markers in place, you should be able to apply filters to remove AI content from your feeds.

Too radical of a take for Twitter so I'll just say here that... The realization that has been cooking for me for the past year or two is....combat is genuinely not the most important in an RPG. The most important thing in an RPG is.. The Role Playing. Combat is part of RPing kinda, but just 1 part.
