If you've ever assumed writing to be easy, it's not.

Four Leaves of Energy -- Hot and Hotter is available now! AO3: archiveofourown.org/works/620773... DeviantArt: www.deviantart.com/ulyssesk402/...

Question: What's the weirdest thing you use as a bookmark that doesn't damage the book?

I think it's important to not view this plan of action as a way in which you feel you can "change the world", but just a way to make your own life better Use your websites only for what really matters to you, not to loose time on discussion that make you angry.

I'm learning web design as part of my education program. In my most recent assignment, the topic of Alt Text came up. It made me curious what the screen reader experience was like, so I activated Windows Narrator on the page I was practicing on.

Somehow I don't think DeviantArt likes the TOR browser very much.

FINALLY got the 3 Keys ending on Ascension 20 in Slay the Spire! Did it as the Ironclad. Now all that's left is to get the 3 Keys ending for the other characters on Ascension 20. (That Fusion Hammer gamble after Act 1 paid off, my goodness)

Just switched my browser's default search engine from Google to DuckDuckGo for one reason, and one reason only. To get away from those AI overviews.

I hate encountering doggy-ears in used books.

One thing I'd like Bluesky to implement: spoiler veils for images.

This was actually good. Try snails some time.

The Watcher's Wrath stance may work a little differently, but holy heck it's still satisfying. Wound up doing 24 damage in one turn. (Also, I think the Hexaghost has a hidden ability that curses the die. Darn thing rolled uselessly the whole fight)

Yum.

My birthday pie. It's snail pie.

Word of warning for anyone who wants the #SlayTheSpire board game: Setting up the first run will take a *while.* You have to set up every character's cards!

Got this for my birthday.

I know I wanted to reveal the walking animation in action, but I underestimated how much longer until then. Not because of skills, but because most of the tutorials assume that I'm using the Windy Woods template. Here is the walking animation I made for #BlueStarGame. Using Flash. CS4.

The next chapter of Four Leaves is out now! AO3: archiveofourown.org/works/620773... DeviantArt: www.deviantart.com/ulyssesk402/...

To be totally honest, using tweening to animate is more satisfying than "move the elements a little, save as .png, move the elements a little, save as .png, move the elements a little..."

I should've seen this export setting sooner. Would've saved me so much anticipation.

FOR OBVIOUS REASONS, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE UP TO DATE ON YOUR VACCINATIONS NOW.

Just ran an experiment with GameMaker and Flash. Good news: Flash lets me export a movie as a .gif file. Also good news: GameMaker accepts .gif files when picking sprite images with full functionality. Bad news: Exporting a movie as a .gif in Flash results in chromatic anomalies and white backdrop.
