The mainstream media is telling lies to sway us to vote PC. Let’s not let that happen. Carney is the better choice

If the average American did that, there’s no doubt they’d be in jail. The corruption in American government has reached a new low.

Which puzzles me because they have to be vaccinated to attend school.

And there is a measles outbreak in Ontario. Of course the ones who are getting the measles are not vaccinated either 🙄

I hope so. I’m in Canada and the 25% tariff on steel, aluminum and autos will hurt both sides of the border

You’re right. I am shocked. I honestly think they are part of sone mega cult. The brain washing is so obvious. Never be ashamed of being one of the smart ones. You smart ones are the saving grace of America.

My heart really goes out to the Americans who didn’t vote for this chaos

Even if you did vote for trump, you didn’t vote for this. Of course you are welcome to come to Canada. It’s not the average Americans fault for Trump’s choices who now lead government agencies.

As a Canadian I really appreciate hearing from independent American unbiased media

Not surprised. Somehow MAGA will convince the favs it’s the best thing to do

Not all Americans voted for him. The ones who didn’t are using their voice and are condemning his actions.

-to be able to cast their ballot. There's nothing wrong with the people, there's a lot wrong with the system that's limiting access to the thing that gives them power to challenge it

To play devil's advocate, Election Day isn't a recognized holiday which means that the majority of people aren't able to leave work. Early voting is available but for the last couple decades voter suppression tactics have made it harder and harder for affected folks (often disenfranchised generally)

Canada stood by America’s side in the Iraq, Afghanistan, 911, the world wars. You can understand why the Canadians feel hurt. Why try to fix something that ain’t broken ?

I’m not sure if it’s an education issue, or an opportunity issue, or an engagement issue. We gotta change it.

I think it’s all of the above. Plus the attitude of ‘I’m just one person, my vote doesn’t matter.’ And probably also the fact that a lot of people work long hours, can’t get childcare, etc. making voting a challenge... Regardless, I’m in full agreement that shit’s gotta change.

I live in a very red state were dems rarely win but we keep trying voting for dems. one person = one vote 🗳

I was so sure that between the two of them, the smart lady would have won. Just wonder why 38% didn’t vote ? That’s just as bad as not voting for the smart lady

Sadly enough the tariffs placed on America’s biggest trading partners Mexico and Canada still have a 25% tariff. Why ?

I love how the intelligent Americans are taking a stand. It’s so refreshing

Listen to the experts, all of whom say the tariffs are going to so far more harm than good.

Now he should be the next president. To speak for 25 hours is no simple feat and doing that to protect American democracy and decency

I’m from Ontario and I’m a swing voter. But for sure I trust that Carney is the best man for the job. I will proudly vote. I also see Canada’s influence rising in world politics and economy

You will feel at home. No language or cultural barrier, high standard of living and guns are illegal here

As a Canadian ,I approve of this statement. I know some Americans may be hesitant to visit because of the anti American sentiment going on right now but trust me, it’s not the people who imposed tariffs, and it’s not the people we are mad at either

What a relief to read comments from sane people who actually think for themselves.
