All I know is the disconnect between the short-term ambitions of politicians & the long-term interests of the country that causes an endless stream of delay and disruption, has to end.

After this is all done in 1,427 days when the next president takes office, he/she will have his/her hands full undoing all the mess that DonOLD and Musk have brought on to the not so United States.
That is, if there is another presidential election.

Well, at least the Liberals are doing their due diligence. With her & Chandra Arya out of the running, there is less chance of a foreign power interfering with Canadian politics.
Next up will be the cyber offensive against the Liberals for being racist.

Trade you... 🤣 I'm in southern Ontario, and I've already had to deal with a little over six feet of snow on our roof. The problem is that the great lakes haven't frozen up the way they used too. This means more moist air, which translates into lots of snow.

Maybe I'm a little crazy for asking this, but isn't an Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessel supposed to be patrolling in the Arctic?

DonOLD owns the Supreme Court, the Senate and the House, so what exactly is this judge going to do if DonOLD ignores him? Americans had their chance back in November 2024, but they bought the snake oil sales pitch.
619 days until the mid terms...

Last time under DonOLD's watch, COVID-19 took the lives of 1,216,003 people in the not so United States. This time he's appointed a former heroin addict, who is a conspiracy theorist & an anti-vaxxer, as the health secretary. When the bird flu hits prime time, I wonder what the death toll will be?

And yet, after listening to the speeches that DonOLD made, and knowing this was coming 77,302,580 people still voted for him. Yes folks, the Fuck Around phase is done, welcome to the Find Out part of the program.

I am so looking forward to this novel.
I think that it would be nice if the brain trust in Hollywood would get The Old Man's War series of books onto TV in the same way that the Expanse series was done.

DonOLD has always been in Putin's pocket. You could even say, he is the Moscow Candidate.

Oh good, add another regulatory hoop to a process that ensures it takes several years before a shovel even breaks ground. Is it any wonder that Canada doesn’t do mega projects anymore & DonOLD has us by the balls?
comment in response to

The only reason that DonOLD is against Ukraine is that Mr. Zelensyyy has principals & had refused to help frame Hunter Biden. DonOLD's world revolves around revenge against anyone he thinks has wronged him. Revenge isn’t a passion, it’s a disease that eats at the mind & poisons the soul.

And, the parents haven't caught this guy, cut his genitals off and made him eat them, because?

DonOLD's acting like the colonial masters the US fought for independence from. America's foreign policy under DonOLD isn't America first, it's America Alone, so there is a desperate need for countries like Canada, the EU, South America & in the far east to form better trading blocks & shun this man!

Auditors carry out audits. Programmers hack and steal data. Musk and DOGE use programmers. Cui prodest? (whom does it profit?)

The fact that PC leader Pierre Poilievre isn't going to have a cakewalk this election and may not even form a government is one of the very few good things to come out of a DonOLD presidency.

What the hell happened to the United States? Once they were seen as world leaders for independence and freedom, now they are no better than the colonial powers they fought against for independence.

The real question is why Musk is employing computer programmers to do these DOGE audits. Generally, audits are carried out by auditors so if an audit is needed, why not use auditors? That is, unless Musk wants access to, and the ability to copy information, sensitive information...

The problem isn't at the state or federal level. The problem is at the municipal level, where teachers get no support from school boards. The main issue is the helicopter parents that fight teachers in matters of discipline & education standards, & the school boards that side against the teachers.
comment in response to

This issue isn't just with China. Trump sees any alliance or entanglement, whether economic or diplomatic, as a zero-sum game. He has no patience for the coalition-building & economic co-operation. Under DonOLD, America First translates into America Alone.

When the representatives from a country start looking and sounding like soap opera stars, it's time to change the channel. And, in this case it means forging new trade and defence relationships with other countries.

So, the correct course of action is to tear the institution that is charged with education standards? Isn't that like throwing out the baby with the bath water?

"Not Americans, just Trump."
Just Trump and the 77,302,580 American who voted for him, which makes them accomplices to his actions. It's not like voters didn't know what he was going to do, all people had to do was pay attention to what he said in his speeches.
