I like unions (except cop unions), gay shit, and socialism in Portland.

Here's a much more abbreviated flyer with current minimal goal, deadline, and information on where to donate.
Share wherever anarchists have money or wherever money having people support anarchists I guess?

Happy to lend some financial support. Also happy to help with redoing the van, doing distro, whatever.

If police want to attend community events, they can do it unarmed and preferably out of uniform. This is just intimidation.
If cops, the new chief, and their supporters are as serious about mending fences as they say, they need to understand that a lot of people feel less safe with cops around.

Anything less than resolving this to the satisfaction of the union and its members is not acceptable.
Sign the interim agreement.
This vague BS makes me far more concerned than not saying anything at all.
Truly disappointed with @supergiantgames.bsky.social.

It is anti-union. The correct course for them is to sign an interim agreement. Their excuse for not working with the union is that they have "various reasons."

This is a vague excuse. The company can and should negotiate with the union to preserve the ability to use some non-union talent. It being "a mess" is not an excuse to refuse to work with their union talent. They have plenty of resources to navigate that "mess." It's really not as hard as you imply.

This isn't drama. This is a company failing to do right by employees. And not all ideals are acceptable, especially when claiming to support your employees is directly contradicted by their actions.

Ew, Pierre is a little oil-loving freak. You do not have to hand it to him.

I feel like there is an opportunity in the next couple of elections to push hard for more left candidates.

Do you think my doppleganger is single?

Agreed. It's a much more efficient use of government resources than trying to maintain the insanely expensive car-centric infrastructure.

Any way to donate without attending?

Complacency under the blue version of American imperialist evil was more shameful than the response to the fascist takeover I am seeing now. I'm glad people are rising up, and I hope they don't decide to stop if we get some milquetoast liberal in power again.

I'm not part of a caucus. And I can really only think of one way to have it be less biased towards a certain tendency: encourage others to go there and be part of the conversation.
Also, budgets are complicated, there's no way we can discuss it productively while microblogging.

Lots of quick judgements on whether or not we made the right decision laying off staff. At least half of the surplus is income that was impossible to predict with any certainty when that decision was made. This topic is better suited to the internal forums than here: discussion.dsausa.org/t/40191.

Here's a post about why that is and when we might expect to get a better idea of how much was saved on a forum better suited for this kind of discussion: discussion.dsausa.org/t/40191/14.

I want to be around people and make intimate connections. Also, I do not want to be perceived or known in any way.

Try getting a real job. Landlords just leech off of society.
